Juliana,

Your prasna technique is fairly similar to Jyotishi Sumeet Chugh's.

He like most vedic astrologers, however, does not use the outer

planets like Uranus and Pluto for analysis. That should not deter

you from continuing with your method since you are more familiar with

it.

I like your test of radicality in reviewing the prasna question.

There is a vedic equivalent to this in Uttara Kalamrita. It uses the

rising sign of the prasna chart to determine the radicality of the

question. But the slokas (written at a different time period) need

to be reinterpreted or analyzed further to determine how they apply

to modern life.

Other modern day jyotishis, like Pandit Sanjay Rath, use the position

of the Moon to determine the querist's state of mind at the time of

the prasna. He further uses the positions of malefic planet in the

chart to determine the intent of the querist. For example, if Rahu

is in the first house of the prasna chart, the querist's intent may

be questionable. Or, if Saturn is in the 7th house, the querist may

use the information obtained for questionable purposes.

Regards,

John R.
