Guest guest
Dear Krushnaji and Group, I do not have much time to do a detailed analysis however I have casted the chart that Puneet has given from Rodden's databank and noticed a few things. As per laws of KAS death happens in MD of karak of 8th house i.e. 3rd lord or its SD and the antra of the planet with the highest points for 8th house. Right now Mercury MD is running and Antra of Shani is running. Jupiter is 3rd and 6th lord. Ju conjoins Mercury in Navamsa. So Me can step in for Jupiter. Mercury is also Naturak Karak for death (3rd lord in Kalpurush chart). The MD or Karak will show the reason for death. Antra is that of Shani. If you cast the chart and obseve the points in 8th house you can clearly see that Shani has the Highest points of 21. Shani also has less power in the 3rd house of 9 and borderline in 6th house i.e 12. The rating Rodden gives is A but its from memory. All the events need to be checked first and time verified. The above is just and observation but correct time should be ascertained first. Thanks, Ash , " Joshi " <puneetrph> wrote: > > Hello Denis, Dadhi and group- > > I'm pasting below astrodatabank's view regarding Pope's birth time > Which to take? > > Regards, > -Puneet > > > Birth Name: Wojtyla, Karol > Birth 5/18/1920 (May. 18, 1920) > Birth Time: 17:30 (5:30 PM) EET (-2:00) > Birth Place: Wadowice, Poland > Latitude / Longitude: 49 N 53 / 19 E 30 > > Rodden Rating / Source: A / From memory > > Source Notes: Grazia Bordoni quotes him on Italian TV 5/18/97, > speaking to a group of kids, " Today, I was born between 5:00 and > 6:00 PM. Guest guest
Hi Patrice et al, Someone on Astrodatabank wrote in that the new Pope Benedict XVI (formerly Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger) was born in Marktl, Germany (Time Zone 1.00, Lat. 48 N 15, Long. 12 E 51), 16 April 1927 at 4:15 AM giving an ~26-degree Aquarius Lagna with Vargottama Saturn in Anuradha in the 10th house of the Rasi/9th of the Bhava chart. This birth data apparently came from www.astro.com though I did not find it there myself. In early April, a Western astrologer on Astrodatabank predicted that Ratzinger would win based partly on the fact that transiting Pluto is nearly conjoined his natal Midheaven. This tells me that we should not discount Pluto in the occurrence of powerful planetary events such as the election of a Catholic Pope. Note also that transiting Jupiter is near his natal Moon. Best regards, Juliana Swanson --- Patrice Curry <patricecurry wrote: > > Hi Mary and List, > > Have you or anyone else been able to find the > coordinates for Marktl am Inn, > Germany? > > Birth date: 16 April 1927 > Birth time: ? > Place: Marktl am Inn > > Kindest wishes, > Patrice > > > ______ > Hello All, > > Looks like the new pope is > Pope Benedict XVI, formerly > Joseph Ratzinger, 78, Germany > > > > > > : > > > Links > > > valist > > > > > >
Guest guest
To all members: The election of Pope Benedict XVI appears to show that the cardinals of the Catholic Church want to maintain the conservative path for the next few years. This will definitely end the speculation about the possibility of women priest in the church, same-sex marriage, and other contentious ideas within the flock. Guest guest
Good morning to all, it is an illusion to think that any of the cardinals would have started a revolution. In fact the choice could have been far worse. At least the new pope is independent and not under the clutches of one of the ultra conservatives groups such as Opus Dei. I think the new Pope might yet surprise us. Guest guest
Dear Ashutosh and others: Would you elaborate on the Jupiter-Ketu yoga in the Pope's chart that you mention? I observed when I got the Pope's birth details (if accurate) that the transit of the Moon's South Node, Ketu, on his natal Virgo Moon (when he was selected) will also signify some detachment and liberation, separation of some sort during the time he holds the position of Pope (perhaps the "head," or Vatican, from the masses). Would you comment on this in light of the Malacy prophecies I've copied at the end as well as the accuracy of other observations for my beginner's mind? Aquarius Ascendant 26º, Jupiter 27º; Mercury 5º conjunct Uranus 8º in Pisces; Virgo Moon 21º H-8; Sun in Aries 2º H-3 (Chiron 8º Aries) Also the siderealist would not include my observations that Benedict has come to continue to heal wounds based on his H-3 Aries Sun conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer (which the tropicalist might include), possibly even having to do with his German lineage (apparently being a member briefly of Hitler's Youth Camp was mandatory when he was young). Also, his natal Mercury in H-2 Pisces conjunct Uranus may give him a "compassionate intellect," but probably unconventional with the Uranus influence (again, the tropicalist would consider Uranus so that he would be the Pope to usher in the Aquarian Age, according to the Mayan calendar in 2012). He should be expansive and for peace and universal brotherhood and new beginnings with natal Jupiter within 1* of the Aquarius ascendant. Thanks, Janna http://seven_directions.tripod.com/ Prophecies about the Last 10 Popes by St Malachy. http://www.bibleprobe.com/last10popes.htm On April 19th, 2005 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected Pope Benedict XVI. The name Benedict means "blessing". Does this name automatically fulfill this prophecy? Will the papacy of this 78 year old pope be short lived? Is this the beginning of Tribulation? Will the next pope be the last pope? Will the next pope be a Roman and choose the name Peter? Malachy's final words: In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city (Rome, the seat of the Vatican) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. It is striking that at least one pope had a similar mystical vision: In 1909, while granting an audience, pope Pius X leaned back and closed his eyes. Suddenly he "awoke" and cried out: "What I see is terrifying. Will it be myself? Will it be my successor? What is certain is that the pope will quit Rome, and in leaving the Vatican, he will have to walk over the dead bodies of his priests." Pius's prophecy was fulfilled neither in his own time nor in that of the next pontiff. According to Malachy's vision of the Church's "tribulation," it applies to the successor of Gloria Olivae-the next pope but one. 9. The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St. Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is "Gloria Olivae" (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil. Traditionally, the olive branch has been associated with peace, but in both the Old and New Testaments it also serves as an emblem for the Jews. Putting the two together, some commentators believe that the reign of this pope will be a peaceful one during which the prophesied conversion of the Jews will take place. Several ex-Jews are said to be highly placed in the Catholic Church now. And, it is noteworthy that the previous Benedict (XV) was a pope obsessed with peace. Some others say, he will lead all faithful followers of the Lord Jesus to martyrdom and others say that he will tear down the walls of the Vatican, auctioning off all the objects within, in order to feed and enlighten those in the 3rd World who have not yet heard the Gospel of Christ. valist, "Astrologer Ashutosh" < astrologerashutosh> wrote: > Dear Chris, > Keeping in mind the Jupiter-ketu yoga in virgo till > september end, the new pope will certainly surprise us. > > Ashutosh. > > > - > christiane cameron <christianecameron@m...> > <valist> > Thursday, April 21, 2005 14:01 > Re: Pope > > > > > > Good morning to all, > > > > it is an illusion to think that any of the cardinals would have started > > a revolution. Guest guest
Dear Janna, Jupiter-ketu combination often results in religious fanaticism. The new Pope's navamsa has this combination in second house. Present transit of Jupiter and ketu on natal moon(lord of house of enemies and controversies), and Rahu ransit on natal mercury will not make the papacy a peaceful affair for him. Though venus is in its own sign in fourth house(giving him everything on a platter and immense public support too), mars and rahu in fifth, the house of sub-ordinates and followers, can bring voices of dissent from vatican itself over his radical decisions in next six months. You are right that he will continue to heal wounds. Jupiter in aquarius is considered holier than in sagittarius and pisces according to Hindus. Also venus in fourth and saturn in tenth show his very compassionate heart. Sun in ketu's nakshatra has given him lots of confidence and he is not the one to go back on his decisions. His mercury dasha is ending on 23rd nov'05. Ketu period will be very unfavorable for him. He is very likely to have a short papacy period. Health problems will arise when saturn enters cancer. Guest guest
Dear Ashutosh: Thank you for a very clear explanation that enhances my own understanding of the planetary influences in the Pope's Rasi and Navamsa as well as the Ketu Dasha, which if he survived it would be timed to usher in the "last Pope," if the Malachy & Mayan prophecies are acccurate, by 2011-12. —Janna http://seven_directions.tripod.com/ valist, "Astrologer Ashutosh" < astrologerashutosh> wrote: > Dear Janna, > Jupiter-ketu combination often results in religious > fanaticism. Guest guest
Yes Ashutosh, I made a post on a different forum which agreed with your post in effect about Ketu Dasa and Saturn the ascendant lords transit in the 6th house of health whilst aspecting 6th lord Moon. Initially Ketu will transit the 8th house and the 6th Lord Moon. For a while Jupiter will remain over the Moon but move off later this year. He will be in Ketu Moon period as Uranus hovers on his Ascendant. All of these factors look inimical to his health. I was conjecturing the Ketu over Moon transit. ie papal monies or death event? Good observation about his followers in the 5th. Pluto is there too. Thats a nice power struggle aspect. Jupiter will trine Mars/Rahu there when it enters Libra after its prolonged stay in Virgo. Its interesting that he was elected with Pluto opposite natal Mars and Saturn at the tail end of Gemini. Of course Jupiter was on his Moon and I noticed Pope Paul II also had close Jupiter transits on his election. But Pluto Opp Mars is a tough aspect. And as you noted Mars Rahu is in the house of followers. And if the Malachy prophecy is correct the next pope will be the antichrist and the last pope.---- ouch... followers..... dawn woodhouse valist, "Astrologer Ashutosh" <astrologerashutosh> wrote: > Dear Janna, > Jupiter-ketu combination often results in religious > fanaticism.
