Guest guest
Dear John, I`m nowhere near a senior member of this group, therefore can only offer the foll suggestions for your consideration. Hope you will at least give them a thought. You may know of the story about Ravan, who had all the planets under his jurisdiction & therefore orderd them to stay in the most auspicious / desired positions, at the time of the birth of his son Inderjit. All but Shani obeyed. He took a step away from his assigned spot, thereby placing Inderjit`s mortality in line with the Universal karmik laws. There`s a saying that man proposes & God disposes ! Having said that, there are certain days which are more auspicious than others & some of them even get a lot of negative karma difused or put on hold perhaps..... Pandit Kotakji & others probably knows about these things a lot better than I but this month has the Navratris ending with Ram Navmi, with Surya Shasti on the 6th day of these navratris & next month has Akshay Tritya & so on. These are very auspicious times. Perhaps you could modify Hiranyakashyap`s son Dhruv`s example & let the mantras of the chosen diety play non stop during the entire firtilization procedure & continue long after, into the pregnancy & birth. Better still, the parents could allready bathe in the sounds of the mantras or recite them day & night if they are able, long before the procedure begins. A bit like an electronic( Devrishi Naradji`s ) ashram for a high tech baby. Possibly, this way the prospective parents might have a good chance of attracting positive energies who will take care, rather than break one`s head over calculations & then have some quirk of fate mess it all up in the end. Hari Om ! Shabnam -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: John [jr_esq] Gesendet: Dienstag, 5. April 2005 09:18 An: valist Betreff: New Medical Technologies To all members: Recently, I was asked through the email by an acquaintance to determine the muhurta for the best time to fertilize a human ovum through the technologies of artificial insemination. Needless to say, I was clueless in answering this question. Personally, I tend to think that jyotish was designed only for selecting the best time to sow the seed through natural procreation. As such, I referred the individual to see a professional jyotishi with experience in this matter. Do any of the senior members in the group have ideas regarding this subject? Regards, John R.
