Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Juliana. Guess I'll have to study up more on the Atlantis angle. But from what I've picked up from google there seems to be a certain convergence within the Gods in various cultures. Sad to know that Dionysus might be dead. But then he's supposed to be the God of illusion isn't he Tej >"omhamsa" <omhamsa >valist >valist >Re: Jyotish Spreading in the Old World (incl >Sanskrit)-origins in Atlantis? >Tue, 08 Mar 2005 16:52:49 -0000 > > > >Re: correlations between gods from different cultures, there may be >a connection between the Greek Dionysus and an ancient contemporary >of Indra, a god named Dyaus-Nahusha, though I do not know much about >him except I believe Indra killed him. Guest guest
Hello dear Juliana and the List Members, Hare Krishna. You wrote ; " No matter where Atlantis is, the Indo-European cultures do have a common language origin as well as many similar socio-cultural traditions, as an example which Das has mentioned previously concerning the similarities between the ancient Celt and Indian cultures." As I wrote in my earlier email today on this forum that the Maharaja Yayati, grandson of Maharaja Prikshit, gave his Two sons to rule the part of the world known as Greek, Rome or Italy and eastern european region. So at that time, there was only on ruler at Histanapur, known as New Delhi, India under the control of various kings ruling the planet earth. Since there was one Ruler, One Religion known as Vedic Culture, therefore, the people following the religion (Vedic Culture) were known as Aryan or Arya. As the time passed by people from these origin came to be known as Aryan who invaded India. That is what it is recorded and we all believe in it. As a matter of fact Indo-European people are the earlier stock of Aryan, also known as civilized people following the Vedic injuctions (Culture). That is how the Vedic knowledge including Jyotish were / are present in that part of world which we are discussisng. More later. Hari BOL. With my best wishes..............AMAR PURI. >"omhamsa" <omhamsa >valist >valist >Re: Jyotish Spreading in the Old World (incl >Sanskrit)-origins in Atlantis? >Tue, 08 Mar 2005 16:52:49 -0000 > > > >Re: correlations between gods from different cultures, there may be >a connection between the Greek Dionysus and an ancient contemporary >of Indra, a god named Dyaus-Nahusha, though I do not know much about >him except I believe Indra killed him.
