Maharishi Prashara says that Movable signs aspect fix signs leaving the near by sign , fix aspect movable in the same fashion an dual aspect to all the dual signs. My 1st understanding of these aspects is like relationship of a Country with other Countries. Like a Family with another family. So these aspect effect at gross level. But the Planetary aspect are for particular individual. A country may be friendly towards another Country but a particular resident may be inimical toward a particular resident in the same friendship Say Mars is in Libra and Saturn is in Taurus. Both have rashi aspect but are inimical toward each other. If Saturn is 5th lord in the chart then the wisdom and planning of Saturn is available to Mars . The Fire arms and killing instruments are available to Saturn. But when in operation at Dasha level they will harm each other, will not hesitate to shoot. Let us suppose same planets are in Scorpio and Capricorn. Saturn is in Scorpio and Mars in Capricorn. Here it is rashi aspect as well as planet aspect. It is also exchange. It will be like every thing of Scorpio is available to Capricorn as well as a protection of Saturn , slowness is available to Mars, it is like two Courtiers are mutually friends and are helping each other with their qualities. They will join to shoot.Mars martial effect are under slowness and patience Mars has no legal and moral differences with Saturn. Another way to look at these aspects is : The movable signs are Rajoguni Signs , the Courtiers which are trying for growth , they need instruments and other things for this growth or instrument of leisure to work with ease. For this they need Intelligence and planning Time span and secrecy ultimate gains. So movable signs or Rajoguni Signs have a natural attraction toward Tamoguni signs which are in 5th ,8th and 11th from them Thinking on same lines Tamoguni signs means a permanent leaure is achieved through Rajo Guna for which is needed the strength of arms, service and luck. Hence you will find Tamoguna signs have a natural attraction toward Rajo Guna signs which are 3rd 6th and 9th from them. Satwa Guna or Mutable signs have no attraction toward Tamo Guna or Rajo Guna , the main efforts are for gaining Knowledge of Dharam Arath Kaam and Moksha.
