Guest guest
Dear all, A few questions on 4 planets conjunct in one house. Case 1: Saravali tells various results of 4 planets in 1 house. It does not mention results, if 1 of the 4 is a node. For example what would be the result of Moon, Venus, Saturn and Ketu together or conjunct in the ascendent of Pisces. I am seeing it in one chart now. Case 2: Then I am also seeing Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in Dhanush in the 9 th house. Mercyry, Venus and Mars are combust. Saravali predicts thievish mentality, lusting other's wives, disproportionate limbs, not much stamina etc,. In the same Saravali under another chapter it is mentioned that this person may become an ascetic which is contradictory to the first reading. Case 3: I have one more reading also 4 planets in 1 house but one of them is a node. Sun, Mercury, Jupitor and Rahu in the 7th in the Taurus!!! So what is te rule for node? Do I have to treat the node as the lort of the sign of that house. Like in case one can I treat Ketu as Jupitor for Pisces and take 4planet conjunction readings from Saravali. I have 2 more cases with 4 planets in one house. I am not presenting now for the fear that it will be too many at a time. What a coincidence, that this last 2 weeks I got in total 5 charts with 4 planets in one house forcing me to research more on thiss matter. Please kindly reply me on this matter all your views. Warm Regards, YB Prasad.
Guest guest
Hello Prasad, The 4 planets in a house inclusive RAHU or KETU! Since no one has answered, I'll have a go. These subjects, I believe are more nearer to the animal kingdom than to the spiritual level. It works like this: ANIMALS>HUMANS>SPIRITS. I may be wrong. Guest guest
Hi. Though I can't speak on behalf of other guys who have four planets in a house, I guess I can certainly speak for myself (You guys may recall that I too had posted by birth details, as I too have four planets in lagna--Mars, Mercury, Rahu and Sun). I have aurus ascendant). I may not be a very spritually evolved person, but I am definitely not nearer to animal kingdom. I have tried to lead pious life as far as possible (the intentions were very sincere here). I take drinks sometimes, but I have never eater non-vegetarian food ever in life. I relish food that is devoid of garlic or onions, though I am not averse to eating food cooked in garlic and onions. In hotels and restaurants, you can't be rigid in insisting that the food be without garlic and onions..... I have never caused any harm to anyone in life....the point here I am trying to make here is I may not be a saint, but I am certainly no "nearer to animal kingdom" Thanks Manoj --- Bhadra Govinda Dasa <raganuga wrote: > > > These subjects, I believe are more nearer to the > animal kingdom than to > > the spiritual level. > > Hello Babu, > > You mean to say the natives of these charts may be > more in human? > > The 3 cases I had presented before are humans, > males, and quite dharmic as > of now. Guest guest
--- Manoj Sharma <manojsharma662000 wrote: > I may not be a very spritually evolved person, but I > am definitely not nearer to animal kingdom. Hello Gentlemen, I've been trying to follow your conversation and if someone doesn't mind explaining a probably really basic concept, what do you mean by "animal kingdom"? At first, I took this literally (like say: I was a ant in a past life). But with Manoj's reference to not being nearer to the animal kingdom it sounded like maybe the animal kingdom is representative of character traits that are unevolved or nonspiritual. If so, what would be specific examples of "animalistic" behavior in this context. Is it that we are not talking about animals at all? Because when I think of domestic animals, they seem to exhibit a lot of better than human traits: very loyal, love unconditionally, always up for a good time, always willing to give a shoulder to cry on, seldom complain or pout or hold grudges. As to wild animals, they don't destroy the environment they live in, they only kill each other for survival, they protect their own group or family, they don't get drunk regularly, very low incidence of spousal abuse, and if they sleep around at least they aren't legally married. So is this a literal animal reference or is this a reference to baser human traits? I'm unfamiliar with your texts on which this discussion is based, so if someone wouldn't mind a quick clarification I'm interested. Thanks. Celebrate 's 10th Birthday! Hello Babu, You mean to say the natives of these charts may be more in human? The 3 cases I had presented before are humans, males, and quite dharmic as of now. All 3 of them are sort of well read in Bhagavadgita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Caitanya Caritamrita, and they chant Hare Krishna every day. They worship Salagrama, Gaura Nitai, Narasingadev etc,. at home. Guest guest
Dear Bhadra Govinda Dasa, Hare Krishna. All Glory to Shri Guru and Gurange. In reply to your Case 1 : 29/Jun/2003 , 08-11AM, Singapore, Singapore, my reading is that the sign Gemini is rising at 28.06 degree at the birth of the native. Exalted / unafflicted / unafflicting Rahu and Ketu are functional malefic but render weak due to placement in 12h of Taurus and 6h of Scorpio respectively away from the mid point and all other planets are benefic for the native. The 2L Moon debilited in Navamsa, 3L Mercury and 9L Saturn occupy the Ascendnat along with the strong 3L sun indicate that the native will have the capabilities of ruling, planning, organizing and controlling with a flair of new adventures in the field of communications, marketing, writing, publishing etc., and appreciating arts in various forms which will give the native eminent social position, possibility of earning lot of wealth, assets and good family relationship. However, it is very much adviseable that the native must strengthen the weak benefic planets, MOON, Saturn, Mercury are combusted, Venus (old age, bad placement and debilitated in Navamsa), Mars and exalted Jupiter weakly disposed. Hope the above analysis helps you . Hari BOL. With my best wishes..............AMAR PURI. >"Bhadra Govinda Dasa" <raganuga >valist ><valist> >Re: 4 Planets in one house >Sat, 5 Mar 2005 13:23:45 -0800 > > > > For clearity purpose of the subject matter under discussion, would you > > please post the native's full birth particulars. > >Amar Puri Prabhu, > >Dandavats. Guest guest
> For clearity purpose of the subject matter under discussion, would you > please post the native's full birth particulars. Amar Puri Prabhu, Dandavats. Here are the details of the charts I was talking about. Case 1 : 29/Jun/2003 , 08-11AM, Singapore, Singapore. Case 2 : 09/Jun/1965, 18-16 PM, Anantapur, India Case 3: 25/Dec/1993, 14-10 PM, Nanded, India Case 4: 22/Feb/1996, 08-37 AM, Nanded, India Case 5 : I can give it on Monday, as it is in my other office computer. All the above 5 natives/subjects have 4 planets in 1 house. Case 1 above is important, and needs a little more attention, as it shows reading of death of parents in early life both in GJ and Saravali, (GJ must be referring to Saravali) however the rest of the chart especially Jupiter in 2 is very strong, and other points seem to negate this. Hare Krishna, Thank you for your time. YB Prasad. >
Guest guest
Dear Juliana and all: I also want to add my experience of "self" with 4 planets in H-1 (Sun Saturn Mercury and the 4th if you include Pluto in Cancer lagna) to the discussion. In whatever way I have engaged in the world throughout my life, it has been in the sense of sannysa and very monastic: I am in the world but not of it, and my material life has revolved around my spiritual life no matter how active I am in the world. Guest guest
I have seen all the posts so far which seem to have digressed from effect of four planets in a house and in particular when one of them is a lunar node . I will discuss the same in my post today evening because this needs some typing and time and I am presently not on my PC. Guest guest
!Om Namo Bhagvate Vaasudevay! Dear Shri Das, I thank you for the input. However, I am surprised that I had alredy posted the detailed note on the subject yesterday which is not seen anywhere on the list. Taking the risk of re-posting the same note twice, I append below my note of yesterday- When four planets are conjunct in a house they essentially form a Pravrajya yog. Sanyas Yog is a sub-class of Pravrajya yog and not an exact synonym. All the ancient classic texts in Vedic Astrology discuss only seven planets, except the nodes and Saravali of Kalyan Varma is no exception. Whether the effects of nodes were not fully known, the nodes were considered Chhayagrahas or even they deserved a mention or not as per classical astrological practices is a debated point in itself. Here we are not going to discuss this aspect. When there are five planets conjunct, the results are similar and modified only in only finer aspects but the Pravrajya or Sanyas effect remains there. However when there are SIX or SEVEN planets conjunct, the best conclusion has been drawn by Sri H.N. Katve, an old astrologer and researcher in late 19th and early 20th century from Maharashtra. Sri Katve opined after giving the effects of SIX and SEVEN conjunct planets in various Ascendants and Bhavas that these yogas may occur once in 150-200 years only and therefore there is very little chance for every astrologer to come across sufficient numbers of such charts. Therefore an astrologer should not try to predict future of such horoscopes unless he is god-gifted or having some Siddhi. It is written by him while acknowledging that 7 planets in a house are considered to form GOL yog as per classics, leading to auspicious results. However he quotes his experience of charts with SIX planets and confirms that all such persons he saw were miserrable in one or more aspects of their life and penniless too. Let us discuss the reasons for this. Very broadly speaking, when four planets are conjunct in a house then there are only three more left (except nodes) to occupy the remaining 11 houses. This fact in itself creates a heavy imbalance in the horoscope. This results in an imbalance in the life of the personality also. Moreover, this conjunction has got nothing to do with ANIMAL nature or behaviour, whatsoever sense we may take it in. On the contrary, most of the times four conjunct planets result through their mutual interaction in such an elevated personality that the person always developes ascetic tendencies out of their wisdom which may or may not lead to actual sanyas. Now the thumb rule about these yogas in nutshell - The wisdom, whenever not available through intelligence, is imparted to the person by the life experiences, the hardships. These hardships may be physical, mental, psychological or emotional. This should be borne in mind that the conjunction of Sun, Venus and Mercury is fairly common. Moon also joins Sun at least once a month. Similarly Sun, Mercury, Mars and Moon also get conjunct at least once a year, so they do not cause a heavy imbalance. Such people are common. The effects are inferred basically according to the sign and bhava (or we could refer to ascendant) and the degrees of the planets. When these planets are combust due to Sun, effect of Sun prevails and the bhavas of combust planets suffer. When these planets are just illuminated by the Sun, the bhavas get elevated accordingly. Four planets therefore from the above lot are no major problem to infer. The real problem occurs when the four planets are conjunct and Sun does not belong to the lot. Out of such cases also, the most complicated combination is when the four conjunct planets are Moon, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. This is essentially typical because the remaining three are Sun, Mercury and Venus, which have to be in close vicinity of each other in any case. The chart and accordingly the persona, both are heavily imbalanced in case the other three also happen to be in a nearby house where four planets are conjunct and in the same hemisphere – either all the planets are in visible or all are in the invisible hemisphere. A similar imbalance is created when all the seven planets fall between the nodes – commonly referred as Kalasarpa Yog in common contemporary astrological parlance. However we are not discussing that here. Now about the effects when one of these four is a lunar node. The effects can be inferred considering the following facts – The results are unfavourable when one of the nodes forms this 4 planet conjunction along with Sun or Moon or both the luminaries being members of the team. The disturbed conditions in the vicinity of lunar nodes affect the luminaries the most and worst when both are mutually conjunct also. When one of the planets is a lunar node (RAHU or KETU), the inference as given for the three conjunct planets in the ancient classics gets modified according to the effects of node present. Shri Parsai has discussed it in his book on Bhavas as well as Shri Das Goravani himself has discussed effects of Rahu and Ketu in detail in his lessons and previous postings. Some interesting and notable work on RAHU and KETU is also done by Shri Prash Trivedi. The results are in accordance with the nature of RAHU and KETU, RAHU acting as future Karma distributor depicting the area of new development and KETU as incoming Karma controller or the area of nascent talent. Whenever these nodes are a part of the 4 planet combination, Spirituality and EGO are deeply affected, Spirituality more and EGO less when it is KETU and vice versa. The bhava where KETU is there, more efforts are required to be put in by the person for any success. The significations of the bhava suffer in materialistic sense and are enhanced in the spiritual sense due to presence of KETU and are improved if it's RAHU. Anything physical that is given by the bhava where KETU sits is temporary an taken away later on or at least converted into a spiritual lesson. The case of RAHU is opposite. RAHU gives things in physical terms and is basically an encashment of your previous births' Karma, showing a diminishing bank balance in that area which is depicted by the bhava for enjoyment in present birth. So basically it is ascetic tendencies, introvert nature or tendency to keep to oneself, results modified in accordance with the lunar node present in the combination and in case the person does not behave as an intelligent person, sufferings that make him wise through lessons in the school of life, leading to pravrajya ultimately. These all are learnt from the writings of Shri Das Goravani, Shri Prash Trivedi, and Shri K.B. Parsai regarding the nodes, Shri H. N. Katve's Yog Vichar and Adhyatma Yog Vichar regarding Four planet combinations and also the classics for four planet combinations i.e. Shri Gopesh Kumar Ojha's commentary on Phala-deepika and also on Jatak Parijat, other texts from Brihajjatakam, BPHS, Saravali, Uttar Kalamrita and Bhava Manjari. Ommissions may please be pardoned and differences of opinion are welcome. Om Shri Krishnarpanamastu. March 06, 2005 Now I would like to add regarding your input in message dated March 7th - I thank you for your input. This is in line with classic approach giving Rahu and Ketu a minor status. However, my experience tells me that this concept does not always apply. This may be a broad thumb rule, but the effects of nodes more often contradict rather than corroborate this rule. In my opinion, the subject of Nodes has been best dealt by Shri Das Goravani and Shri Prash Trivedi, in a very unambiguous manner. Thanks and regards, Himanshu Mohan Om Shri Krishnarpanamastu. Guest guest
Dear Himanshu, I haven't found the presence of four or more planets in one house to be of much benefit in most of the cases. Here, we should not forget that the planets under consideration are having positive and negative effects on each other and thus increasing or decreasing others in power. Further, if sun is also involved in this conjunction, then the planets close enough to the sun to be combust will become powerless too. Therefore, each conjunction should be carefully studied planet by planet and its placement too. Ashutosh. - Himanshu Mohan <himanshu_mohan <valist> Monday, March 07, 2005 20:50 Re: 4 Planets in one house !Om Namo Bhagvate Vaasudevay! Dear Shri Das, I thank you for the input. Guest guest
!Om Namo Bhagawate Vasudevay! Dear Sonat, Degrees of these 4 planets is required. Complete chart will be still more useful. As you can infer from my earlier note this is a common combination and Mercury will govern your profession. You will prefer independent job. Subordination makes u aggressive so that u may even kick such jobs. Defence /Police/Security departments suit you and you should be working on a computer desk there. Consultancy and liaision should be your forte. Your choice shall be grand things and show- off. Fame is also your desire but mostly in family. !Om Shri Krishnarpanamastu!
