Our inability to 'see' who these people are naturally puts us in harms way. This lack of discrimination on our part is due mainly to the unawareness of our own darkness. To the extent we are willing to shed light on our own unconscious evil, to that same extent we can see the corresponding evil in the world at large. There's nothing nice about the false ego--it is a lying, brutal, murdering hypocrite. Honest persons, having a least a little light, try to approach the light by having the courage to look within and take a journey through the dark night of the soul. Our source of energy is within us. On the other hand, 'devils', or the Darth Vedars of the world, essentially dead to any light or energy within themselves, need a battery pack to draw on, and the larger the battery pack, in the form of unconscious and willing human beings, the better. I once knew an American Indian woman who had second sight and her work consisted of what the Indians call "Soul Retrieval". She once went to a large conference of a very well known and powerful healer. Since she was clairvoyant, she was able to see that when this woman was up on the stage and supposedly working with her people, she was drawing a tremendous amount of energy from the group. She took this energy, which the group more that willingly (and unconsciously) gave her, and turned part of it around to perform a so called 'miracle' healing. I saw this for myself once in a seminar with a very powerful man teaching techniques of the Hawaii Kahuna's. He literally threw energy across the room and hit a woman with it who practically jumped out of her chair. Later I was able to see his chart--a Moon/Saturn/Rahu conjunction in the 8th house aspected by Mars. Combinations like this can lead to black magic in my opinion. Part of his healing technique was to make use of 'elementals' of the subtle plane or invisible entities that did his bidding. Spending time around such people may leave you a burned out cinder--in dire need or recharging. There are obviously good and well intentioned teachers as well as astrologers. Praying or meditating sincerely for an answer can often lead you to such a person. Best, Steve
