Guest guest
Hi Elizabeth A lot of people like my site and my writings. And then click on "Lessons". You'll see a list of titles of various articles I've written. Don't know if it will be your style. "Beneath a Vedic Sky" is a good book. By William Levacy. It's in book stores usually. It has nice Western to Vedic comparisons, written by a very intelligent guy, who knows how to talk to the western mind while conveying Vedic thought. It's good. Das Goravani, Pres. Guest guest
Hi Elizabeth, I am also a Westerner. I started to look through the Vedic books I have to give you some names, but my best recommendation regarding books, if you are a newbie, is to go to the bookstore and page through what you can find there. Only you know what will speak to you clearly. You'll find what you need to find on your own journey. But one HUGE help for me was getting Das's video set. It's only $50 (or 49.99 or something like that, I don't remember) and you get 3 videos. It's so clear and straight forward that even I get it. Created by a Western mind who understands Eastern thought, it's presented in a way that Western minds easily grasp. It's also pretty funny - as well as easy to watch again when the books start to confuse and bog you down. Anyway, those are my 2 cents. Happy hunting! --- Elizabeth Dawes <xmas0125 wrote: > Hi > > What's a good book/site to get started with this?
