Guest guest Posted January 7, 2005 Report Share Posted January 7, 2005 Dear Friends, I am a beginner in astrology and wanted to know about the effect of AtmaKarka in a horoscope in regards to its bhava position, aspect from planets and the conjunctions of AK with other planets. Would the significations of the bhava in which AK is placed in lagn chart, be important in that person life- would that will be the area of struggle/problems? Also what would be the effect in special conditions like - if the AK is also lagn lord or if AK is exalted in rasi or navamsha chart or maybe retrograde. I read Ch. 32. Karakatwas of the Grahas and Ch. 33. Effects of Karakans. in BPHS. In ch 33, effect of karakans is mentioned in various rashis of navamsha( not lagn chart). Also the effect of planets as counted from from the karakans is explained, but then what is the use of Karakamsha chart in which the navamsa rashi of AK is considered and the lagn chart D-1 is rotated so that, it (navamsa rashi of AK) becomes Asc. Also what would be the effect of AK planet dasha?- is it true that the person will be inclined towards spiritual pursuits and materialistic/worldly aspects will take a backseat ? Please guide me. Yes, The house where Ak is present will be the kind of activity or concern the person will be involved in. Like My own Ak is in 6th house Ak owns 9th and 4th house. So most of my effort has gone towards parents. due to 6th house (worries, stress between them, health, etc) reasons.
