Guest guest
With the polls tight, I'm expecting the election to leave a sour taste in the mouths of the losers. As I have predicted earlier, this is likely to lead to protests and possible official contestation of the results. We can see this in the conjunction of stationary Saturn to the 7/4/1776 USA Mercury. Also Saturn and Neptune will be exactly parallel in mid November suggesting possible further nefarious or obscuring activities involving authority structures like government. I am still predicting Bush will win in the end (ie. Jan 20 inauguration) , although I suppose there is a chance he might only win on appeal. That is not the most likely scenario however. This is: Bush wins outright on election night. I heard of a possible complicating factor coming out of Colorado: the state legislature there has proposed an amendment whereby the state's electoral college (9 votes) would be divided according to popular vote rather that winner takes all as is now the case. The Republican governor is fighting it. This amendment will be voted on election day. To make matters interesting, the sponsors of the amendment want to be retroactively/immediately effective as election day. In an interview, the governor spoke openly of the likelihood of judicial appeals by the loser. Just what US democracy needs --- more court intervention. :-) Chris Christopher Kevill http://modernVedic Astrology.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
