Dear Ms. Janna Lynn,

Thank you very much for taking an interest in the transit analysis sent to Mr.

John R.

Let me give you an insight over the situations you have and what you are

currently going through in your life. Since I do not have complete picture of

planets I may not be correct at the few points but please see this in proper

light:

1. It is not clear on which date your job was lost. But please note that when

the job was lost in August’03 Mars the 10th lord in your natal chart was

retrograde in Aquarius i.e. natal 8th house. Saturn, the dispositor of Mars was

transiting through natal 12th house in Gemini. Even Rahu & Ketu axis also was

on the movement and would have started influencing the 10th & 4th houses i.e.

Aries and Libra. So, a change was in store for you, which was supposed to cause

a loss that too related to job – since all major planets were mostly related to

the house of job. If you can note both 3rd house and 11th houses from 10th had

weak planets – position wise. Please also note that Saturn is 10th house lord

from natal 10th house which was transiting through 6th from Capricorn which also

states loss.

2. Jupiter, the lord of fortune had also transited to 2nd house i.e. Leo in your

natal chart in Aug’03, which is 6th from 9th house – pointing out that the luck

element was missing or it was with an enemy who may have caused this.

3. Now, also see that both Jupiter and Saturn were in respective 12th houses

from their natal positions indicating losses related to the houses. While

health & status would have suffered, the strength and relationship with siblings

would have caused agonies.

4. But the positive picture is that soon all that is going to change towards

positive and in fact very good. The reason is that both Saturn and Jupiter will

move to respective natal positions. While Jupiter may give you a chance to

travel for divine purposes and have best of luck Saturn will prove beneficial in

some sort of business or partnerships also to help people since it is a people

related planet.

5. I think you should focus more towards public service based on the position of

Saturn in natal chart in Cancer, which promises political/public activities and

public dealings at large. Saturn ruling the masses will get you big name and

fame in life if you concentrate over building a career into politics and at some

point of time it may bestow you with public office. The reason of stating this

is that Saturn in Cancer certainly gives such activities and you will soon see

that it will automatically start when Saturn moves to Cancer. I perceive

yourself having a strong commanding voice that will help you doing this.

6. Jupiter also is a planet that makes our base strong so that we become strong

enough to live life happily. In your case its cycle will prove beneficial once

it transits through Virgo during Jupiter return. Divine teaching is related to

Jupiter being the guru of Gods. It will help you grow from within and grow

mentally through the tough times that will soon go away.

In your case the transits will not work the same way as in Mr. John’s case.

Since Mars-Saturn combine gave you trouble relating to job it would have rather

increased your expenses and mental worries than significant financial gains.

Besides, there may be problems within your paternal family and low confidence

within yourself. Try to meditate as much as you can and you will see that pains

go as you delve deeper within yourself.

On the astrology front, please focus on the houses concerned or in question and

from there you try to analyze the transits that mostly indicate the situation.

Just in case you know people with whom you interact most and have their birth

details. Just try to write effect of transits or major/sub-periods and just

keep that with yourself without sharing that with anybody (with dates clearly

marked on that) and keep on analyzing that based on the other principles. Do

this for a while and have an independent approach, which is easiest for you to

learn and practice and see the results. That will be marvelous!

Hope this helps.

With best regards and best wishes,

Prakash Kandpal

Dear Prakash:

I appreciate your taking the time to discuss the similarities/differences w=

ith Mr.

John's situation. In particular, your comment that "both Jupiter and Satur=

n

were in respective 12th houses from their natal positions indicating losses=

related to the houses" explains the "stuckness" I have felt in particular i=

n these

houses. And although I have no desire to be "in public view" with so many

planets in Cancer (Sun plus Mercury), it is more likely that my writing cou=

ld

reflect Saturn's natal return characteristics, particularly since my writin=

g is

"spiritual literature" and thus I have felt reflects both the protective an=

d

naturally isolationist nature of "Saturn in Cancer." Also since I'm not a

professional astrologer but only follow the astrological movements accordin=

g

to my understanding and learning, I can only continue to do what you sugges=

t

last, which is to observe the effect of the transits. My approach is necess=

arily

"independent," which I also perceive in your approach to interpretation, si=

nce I

do not have "all of the pieces of the planetary puzzle" to work with and mu=

st

rely on a combination of my own knowledge and intuition with observations

like the ones you and other astrologers have made, which certainly helps to=

expand my understanding. It will be interesting for me to observe, for

example, the effects of near simultaneous Saturn and Jupiter Returns

(although this will more be by house than degree since NT Jupiter is 26

degrees). I have hoped that one will not cancel out the other but at least =

provide a balance (in the divine and material realms), although I'm also no=

t

ruling out a "divine partnership." Thanks again for responding.
