Guest guest
Prakash, Thank you for the extensive analysis. You covered the effects of the transits very well. You have shown us the value of these transits in addition to analysing the various dashas. For your information, I was working as an auditor for the federal government. My specific comments are shown below: 1. "... but if you notice that from the 2nd and 11th house the situation becomes quite good for dhana yogas i.e. wealth yogas having two malefics (Mars & Saturn) in Gemini in 12th house. From 2nd, 12th house is 11th and from 11th house it is 2nd house." This is a unique way of looking at it. From the surface, I did not think Mars and Saturn would be beneficial due to their malefic nature. 2. "The time of transits should be around last one/one and half months wherein 2nd lord sun must be either in Aries or must have moved to Taurus both working good financially." Your analyis is very accurate. It was actually the government, my employer, who decided to offer an early retirement package with a cash incentive. All of this happened within the last month or so. > 3. "You should also note that Rahu (North Node) in Aries i.e. 10th house of your chart, was also creating changes for you." You're right about this. I did not consider this aspect due to the fact that Rahu is a malefic. You've shown us some of the benefic effects of Rahu when in a kendra. 4. "Saturn was creating a VRY (Vipareeta Raja Yoga) being the lord of 8th house lord posited in 12th house and aspecting the 2nd house of wealth. Saturn gives you results of your hard work and karmas which fructified in financial benefit. Venus, I believe must also have been in power i.e. in Taurus or Gemini when you opted for voluntary retirements." Excellent observation. It is true that I've worked hard without getting much recognition. So, I appreciate your comment that my past karma has worked to my benefit. Once again, I failed to see this yoga due to the malefic nature of Saturn. 5. "Mars the 10th house lord with its fierce enemy Saturn in a house where Saturn is more comfortable (Gemini) created struggle in your mind regarding job. Please note that this decision was in the offing for last two years+ when Saturn had transited to Gemini but this fructified only when the 10th lord became weak in the 12th house." For your information, I started having problems with my job last July, 2003. My supervisors did not agree with my observations on a particular assignment due to their being controversial. It involved questioning costs amounting to about $1.0 million. Ever since then, the supervisors were reluctant to sign off on the workpapers I prepared. This condition has greatly contributed to my decision to quit the federal service. In my opinion, the questioned costs will not be reported by my supervisors for disclosure. 6. "For 10th house 12th house is house of power as well so the power was weakened. 9th lord was 6th from its natal position so luck did not favour you. Rahu was already creating change. But 9th lord in 2nd also helped in bestowing you with financial reward wherein lord of 11th was also powerful. From 5th house i.e. Scorpio also Mars was transiting through the 8th house in Gemini which states the result of past karmas was over and current karma result was due." The actual effect of these transits were that: -- I was able to find a good reportable condition in my assignment, due to the effect of Rahu transiting the 10th house. -- However, my supervisors did not readily agree with my observations, due to the conjunction of Mars and Saturn in the 12th house. -- The government offered a retirement package that was beneficial to me, due to the transit of Jupiter in the 2nd house. Overall, I'm impressed by your analysis using the transits only. For your information I'm running the dasha of Saturn/Jupiter/Mercury when I retired on May 28, 2004. Last September, during the period of Saturn/Jupiter/Jupiter, I traveled to several places in Europe, such as Paris, Milan and Rome for my vacation. So, life is a wonder!
