Dear All

Do you use these points in your interpretations?

How do you use them and do you find them very meaningful and helpful or just

another little piece of the puzzle?

Thank you

cynthia

Hi Cynthia!

Well I am a kind of sleeping member of this group as I

dont write too often. I dont know about others but yes

I do use these points. Infact in Jyotish stress is

always given to use of Panchang which are considered

to be the 5 limbs of Jyotish. Yogi/Avayogi and Dagdha

rasi are derived from the 2 limbs i.e. Yoga & Tithi.

Yogi planets are Rajyoga Karaka planets and they give

these results if they are well placed in the chart.

And the planets which are placed in Dagdha rasi cannot

give results completely. In general i have seen that

there Karaktatwas get spoiled.

Now if Avayogi planet is placed in Dagdha rasi or

6,8,12 houses then they give good results as '-' + '-'

makes a '+'.

Dagdha means burnt in sanskirt so these rasis get

burnt you can say. You can even try to use this for

house interpretation. Seeing the results of the houses

which are dagdha. I think i have given enough hint for

u to try them out.

Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

These points are very interesting. I was told that the yogi point gives

wealth and success...but I don't see it in my own chart where that point is

the Sun in the 4th. I suppose that would mean that I could work from home

and make a decent living, which I do part of the time.

Does this mean that transits of the Sun bring wealth? Would the annual

return of the Sun then be the best transit?

Am I looking at this all wrong and does this merely indicate a planetary

stone to wear...in this case ruby or garnet?

The ava yogi planet is SAturn so should I make offerings to Saturn and

engage in patience and tenacity to strengthen this or should I simply

presume that a Saturn transit will stop financial flow.

Sorry to be so simple minded. It was explained to me by someone with

limited experience so I am literally feeling my way through.

Thank you for your time and patience.
