Hi All:

I have a question on Jupiter dasha.

For a pisces ascendant, who has a Jupiter maha-dasha running, what is

the impact of mercury as Bhukti and antardasha?

I can forward the date of birth details if you need.

Thanks,

Saketh Ram.

In general, Mercury will activate the affairs of his house (any sub lord

would).

Mercury owns 4th and 7th for Meena Lagna, so home/emotions/mother and

trade/spouse/business partners/relationships are activated.

Depending on where Mercury is, things of those houses/affairs will be thus

directed and things will go that way. If Mercury is placed such as to give

happiness, strength, goodness, then those things go that way. If it is

afflicted in some strong way, then those affairs suffer.

This is the basic idea.

Respected Sir,

I have a question here w.r.to the functioning of the sub-lord.

The sub-lord is happily posited, is it to be counted from lagna or the

house itself in question. How does a relationship apart from other

afflictions, between the Dasha Lord and the Bhukti Lord

(temporal/permanent/neutral, friendly, due to their placement with respect

to each other) affect their portfolios. Please clarify.

Thanks

Bhargav

I don't know everything, but here's what I've come to understand:

For the most part, count everything from lagna. Count from moon when judging

internal emotional matters.

Re temporal relationship between Maha dasha lord and then subs, I have never

done that. I have always just looked at planets as they relate to the chart,

but also one other thing, I combine them as they act for that chart, with

each other.

So, if Mercury is good for the chart say, and Jupiter is also, then when

they are running together in dasha, they are both friendly to the person,

and try to do good.

If one has some negative portfolio to carry out, it will try to fit that

into it's periods as it can, being either aided or blocked in that by the

other planet running, depending on it's mood.

I suppose one could argue a case for judging their relationship together

independent of the chart, but I've never done that particular thing.

Hello All:

Thanks for your responses. Below are the Planet positions.

Planet Sign Longitude Motion Nakshatra

------ ---- --------- ------ ---------

Asc Pisces 19° 36' --- Revati

Sun Virgo 16° 23' Dir Hasta

Mer Virgo 18° 37' Dir Hasta

Ven Libra 25° 28' Dir Vishakha

Mar Libra 15° 43' Dir Swati

Jup Cancer 11° 13' Dir Pushya

Sat Leo 14° 59' Dir P Phalguni

Mon Libra 1° 21' Dir Chitra

Rah Virgo 2° 24' Ret U Phalguni

Ket Pisces 2° 24' Ret P Bhadra

So - shall we conclude that during the Jupiter dasha and Mercury

antardasha, the influence will be beneficial?

Will there be any reason for worries in education - and

reasons for break in education if any, due to the Mercury antardasha

acting on jupiter dasha, for this chart.
