Guest guest Posted January 30, 2004 Report Share Posted January 30, 2004 Curt, What you say for the most part is true - the books that are more modern on the subject merely seem to ape what the classics say. But that's isn't necessarily a bad thing. What I do is look at the classical delineations and then compare that to what the modern western astrologers are saying about that same placement, and then I make judgement based on my own study. Sometimes my intrepretation will lean more toward one style or the other, depending on the situation. I think the great value in this approach is that it allows me to sup from both systems and apply where necessary. I have done this many times. Hope this helps a bit.
