Guest guest
Dear Rick, Have only just started playing around with JS3 Alpha. Not much of a computer person, so had some trepidation, but, to my relief, it is very user friendly. Don't know if this is the sort of feedback you need, but thought I'd mention a few of the features I find most unique and helpful so far (still have more to look at, just getting started). I am into aesthetics and the background options are fantastic and unparalleled in any of the other software programs I have. If you work with charts a lot, frankly, I think it matters what they look like, the colors, styles, etc. Fractal, green swirl and space are instant favorites. And its nice to have these options for emailing charts to people, which is another great feature on your software. Love the info from right clicking on planets. Am also obsessing over the features which make chart comparisons so amazingly easy and efficient. Terrific being able to look at 6 charts on one page (like to look at different vargas for a couple of people or at the same varga for every one in a family). Brilliant. And being able to move the windows around with the drop and drag feature is incredible -very innovative, not available in any of my other software programs. This also greatly enhances the ease of comparing charts - looking at dasas, etc. for different people side by side, just moving things wherever, whenever. Lots of easy control in that. Transit hit finder - terrific for very quick check of past happenings, future planning. And the pocket size (useful if trying to see many windows on the screen at once) Levacy collection tab with its quick overview of features is excellent - I personally really apprecate the fact that it gives the nama nashtatras for all the planets in a chart and an instant summary of the elements. Hadn't actually gone to the Quick View before you mentioned it. Big mistake on my part - its addictive. The lunations, the calendar tab giving me all that transit info for the chart I'm looking at and on and on. And, again, the fact that it is long and thin helps when I am trying to look at multiple windows on the screen. I could continue rambling about other features (the event list merging with the dasas, transits is really useful, also the tri wheel), but will stop here and go back to playing with it and finding more stuff. It's a lot of fun - not something I am prone to saying about anything to do with my computer. Honestly, if you're looking for constructive criticism, don't really know what to say.
