Dear List Members, Nicholas and Madhav,

The great Brihapati (Jupiter) is expansive in nature........ that

what he expands is positive or negative to a person should be

considered.......

Madhav, Jupiter can be responsive for creating a spark where he

sits, and hence the inference of destruction / fires. This is not

sufficient to conclude destruction to the house.

In your example, Jupiter is in the 9th House of Higher Education.

>From here, examine:

1) Baadhak(s) to the 9th House

2) Sustenance to this house (10th House) and Maaraka (7th House)

3) Trinal infulence to see where the education is headed

4) Quadrants that openly support this house

5) Argala causing intervention to the education

6) Dashas to time certain events influencing events

For a more in-depth analysis, examine the 24th dicision or the D24

chart as well.

Guru is also the natural significator of the 9th House, along with

the Sun. The Sun, the primordial source of light, represents

knowledge. Jupiter the counsellor represents wisdom and use of that

learnt (reflecting the light of the Sun).

I hope that helps.
