I would agree that he is better off working overseas rather than in his home country. This is due to the exalted Mars positioned in the 12th house. The weakness in his chart is the Rahu/Moon combination both in the 10th house. This indicates that his mother might have health problems or worse (due to Saturn in the 8th from the Moon). In my opinion, he should be forewarned that the mahadasha of the Moon would be challenging, both for career matter and of health. This will occur around April, 2017. In the meantime, he should go ahead and get married if he wants to. He should consult a jyotishi to make sure that he selects an appropriate bride to have a stable relationship. Even though his Mars is in the 12th house, one can argue that he does not have kujadosha since Mars is exalted. As such, he should marry someone who does not have kujadosha. Guest guest Posted December 19, 2003 Report Share Posted December 19, 2003 Hi John, Your analysis is correct … regarding working overseas or settling down in other country can not be predicted from 10th house lord alone … to predict this you need to consider the 9th,12th ,3rd house and lords and their relationship for foreign travel , but for migrating to other country you need to consider the 4th house also .. in this case 4th house lord, Venus(also 9th lord) is placed very strongly in 2nd house with the Jupiter so settling down in other country is ruled out. But since the Rahu and Moon both are present in the 10th house shows frequent traveling and mars in 12th indicates foreign travel (lord of 10th and 3rd in 12th house) .. also there are other indication which shows frequent travel is placement of sun , 7th lord in 1st house.. You are correct real weakness of this chart is 10th house … combination of rahu / moon in 10th and Mars in 12th with Mer. (natural enemy and lord of 8th house). And in reality his mother has never seen any happy moments in life even though money is not issue, but no mental peace.. But still not able to make out on 7th house … Is this house affilicted by combined aspect of 3 malefics , Sat from 5th , Sun from Asc. The most important factor is the existence of kujadosha. This condition can wreak havoc if not matched with a suitable partner. In the chart involved, the person does not have kujadosha due to an exalted Mars in the 12th house. (some astrologers may disagree to this, however!) The positions of the Sun in the 1st house and Saturn in the 5th house can cause delays in a marriage. But this does not mean that the chart is unsuitable for marriage. The person needs to find a suitable partner. In addition to considering kujadosha, an astrologer needs to determine the kuta score between the couple. Further, the astrologer should determine if their is compatibility in emotions and the soul. This can be done by considering the positions of the Moon, Venus and the Sun against the other partner. For example, if the Moon positions of the couple are opposite each other, there is a great likelihood of good emotional understanding between the two. In short, the person involved needs to consult an experienced jyotishi to select a suitable marriage partner.
