Test 84 — REPORT

Test No. 84 was to determine which of the following five events occurred on 8

Nov 2003 in the life of a woman born on 5 October 1978 at 10:10 pm AEST (-10:00)

in Melbourne, Australia (37S49, 144E58). Asc 27Ta30, MC 9Pi44, Moon 21Sc29.

The woman is an office worker, single, living in Canberra, Australian Capital

Territory (35S17, 149E08) where the event occurred.

1. She married.

2. She gave birth to a child.

3. She bought a house.

4. She crashed her car.

5. Her mother died.

The answer is that the woman married. Seven of the 40 respondents were correct.

Probably the quickest answer is in the precessed Lunar Return Chart of 27 Oct

2003 (see Attachment): The Moon and Venus are conjunct at 21 Scorpio; the Sun

and Mercury are conjunct at 3 Scorpio, Sun ruling the MC and Mercury ruling the

Marriage House. The standard Lunar Return Chart, though not quite so specific,

has comparable indications.

Here are the solutions from the respondents who found the correct answer:

"Vimshottari dasa in combination with natal and D9 divisional chart (navamsha)."

— Ron Day (Australia).

“Mercury Solar arc 0º Mars (ruler 7th) and Progressed Moon 0º Node Solar arc in

Libra.” — Ricardo Fidalgo (Portugal).

“Using vedic astrology and vimshottari dasa technique (Sassanian Ayanamsa), she

is in period Mercury - Venus - Rahu. Mercury rules the fifth house, Venus

(bhutki) is in the seventh house and Rahu is in the fifth house also.” —

Francoise Carriere (Canada).

“Using Vedic Astrology, the lady in question is now in a Saturn-Jupiter

dashs-bhukti period in her life. In the birth chart Saturn is in the nakshatra

'Purva Phalguni'. At the time of the event Jupiter is in the same nakshatra. The

associated deity of Purva Phalguni is Bhaga, the God of protection, a good

marriage and prosperity.”

— Ko van Hespen (Netherlands).

“Solar Return October 5, 2003 at Canberra: NNode at 21 Taurus opp. Venus/Pluto

at 21 Scorpio conjunct natal Moon at 21 Scorpio.” — Shirley Gray (USA).

“[in] the Lunar Return set for 27 Oct 2003 at Canberra, Australia, the Ascendant

is approaching conjunction to the Natal Descendant.” — Gabe Rosas (USA).

Venus Directed by Solar-Arc conjunct natal Neptune in the 7th House.

— Faye Jenkins (Australia).

Congratulations to all who put themselves on the line and sent a written answer

to the Test, whether or not their solution was correct. The most valuable part

of these “Tests” is the work you put into it.

There will be another Test later this month.

Best wishes to all,
