Guest guest
dear richard/goravani ji, I am a silent reader of this group and does not know the basics of astrology. I have read few books here or there and played with trial versions of gj2.5/kala 2k3/jhl5.0 etc to name a few thats extent of my knowledge. I have not seen much focus on remedial aspect of a chart in these software.. atleast to an extent to call it as a "feature". would you be able to throw light if GJ3 will contain such important feature. thank you very much utpal

Good question. Short answer: Probably not. Explanation: I am a complicated person, so I tend to see this as "un-computerizable" feature. I personally think this is, like Muhurta, the cream of the science. Muhurta, or picking times to do things, and remedial measures, are both, to me, very complex matters, which are exceedingly difficult to program. When you do see these things popping up in software form, I personally wouldn't put my faith in such offerings. Not really. If it were possible, really possible, then we would not need Brahmins, or wise persons, would we? If those things were programmable, then everything on Earth in the realm of knowledge would be too...then we could have a supercomputer making all decisions for us. We could even have it review babies charts and possibly exterminate the mass murderers before they are one day old even.! There is a limit to what we can program. And if one thinks the easy fixes postulated in scriptures are good enough, I say, that you're wrong. I say, that those are for learning from- just as the simple readings given for planetary placements are not meant literally, but to learn from. They are true by themselves only in a vacuum- where there are no other influences. This is rarely true in a chart. With all that said, I would like to offer something, so that it gives some clue as to some ideas for remedials- that would surely be good for my sales, but I personally don't have faith in such for the above reasons. I would hate to think that people are out there buying gems based on my software. That level of karmic responsibility I don't think I'm willing to carry, which is why I turned down the guy who bought out Geovision- he's a big gem seller and wanted the software to make recommendations. I turned down a quarter million dollars for this reason. Like I said in my other postings about how in one chart the malefics are malefic, while in the next chart the malefics are considered good, so it is very personalized and complicated. One little thing, one very little thing, in a chart, can switch the recommendation by 180 degrees. Knowing this to be true, I am very afraid of offering a blind, stupid, automated system. And to really "read" a chart in the code, to make the complex recommendation, is EXCEEDINGLY HARD to program, if not impossible. The same thing goes for Muhurtha, though there, you definitely can help people in software- because some recommendation, even just a good rising planet or angle, is better than no plannin for most souls, so that's fine. But to REALLY do Muhurtha fully is very complex to program. I'll see what I can do when I can do it, but for now it's not my focus. My focus remains providing a very interesting, good looking, powerful tool full of the basics of Parashari standard Jyotish, for people to use for doing charts and to learn for themselves with, and this has been my directive for my previous versions as well. I'm sorry if this is one big excuse for not adding a whopping remedial measures feature. Sorry! That's a lot, sems to be a wonderful and extremely powerful program. Looking forward to the code and hoping that you are fine Gisela
Guest guest
Dear List I had to move home, and also be off line, and off phone, for the last couple weeks, and for a little while longer. I will be back answering emails and phone soon. At that time, anyone who has requested a code or something else will be notified that I am available, and we can start over then with each request, no problem. Thanks, this was unfortunately necessary, Yours, Roik MacKay
Guest guest
Dear Bipin, Now we know, that it will take some time until Rick will activate us. What a pity. Good idea to keep in touch - and I think we aren't alone. There are some lucky people on this list who are even activated. Guest guest
Hello I'm answering some calls, and every day checking emails now. So please try for activation. I'm basically back, about 75% Thank you, Roik Das Goravani
