Guest guest
I am very happy and thankful that a good number of you are ordering the alpha version of JS3, mainly because it will provide feedback and discussion which will spur me along. That's my selfish side. For your side, you'll get something rather useful. Once I personally got into using JS3, I didn't want or need GJ2 anymore. The transit window alone in JS3 has become my main window- I always now look at charts with the current transits overlayed on the Rasi. Also, the dashas in JS3 are vastly superior to version 2. In fact, I hired a C programmer friend for a few weeks about 2 years ago, and together we worked for 2 weeks, and he put my dasha logic into C, and I put that plug in into JS3. The result is that it has all the main Parashari dashas, up to 8 levels, with life events merged in, and all very fast. You can also print dashas many ways, and you can email them with one click right from JS3- no need to switch to your email program because JS3 IS AN EMAIL SENDER ITSELF. If you are online, it will send emails of many things, or JPEG's of ANY WINDOW you happen to be looking at. It will also save those JPEGS of ANY WINDOW to disk so if you're making a website, writing a book, etc., this will help. So I'm very excited about the possibilities for fun, feedback and moving forward that we have here. As this unfolds, use this otherwise inactive list as the discussion place for ideas and tech support. It's called GJList partly because it was originally meant to be a tech support place for GJ, or Goravani Jyotish, which is a software program. It's never been that hardly, but now maybe it will become that. I'm excited today. Not only is Iraq able to move on, but so are we moving on. I offered the alpha for $10, and that stands. To include Sabine's idea- if an already registered user of GJ pays $100 instead, then I will mark them as having paid for the upgrade, and when it's done, they'll get it for nothing more, having already paid their $100. The final upgrade price in my mind has always been $100. So just tell me whichever on your order form and I'll record the $100's in my user database.
