How about the Goravani software? Does Goravani still have it up for

sale? Or has he taken it off the market? Has he recovered from his

depression?

Who can compare Goravani with Parashara's Light? I would like to

orchestrate some kind of comparison on the Astrologia Vedica list.

I am under the impression that Goravani is tops all around.

Dear Dharma/Dean,

I have been using the software and experimenting with it for few months now. As

the version that I am using of Jyotish Suite still has a few things that don't

work on my computer- it is therefore hard to make a comment on that aspect of

the software.

What I found about the software is that it is very easy to use with the most

beautiful screens. The most important thing that stands out is the layout of

windows, which you create - and you can do that anywhere on the screen and in

any size. You can open as many windows of any size and anywhere on the screen.

This is likely one option that no one else has. If you used to like the Goravani

software, then you will find this to be much more nicer and easier. All dasas

can be calculated to 8 levels.

I am under the weather right now and can write some more on the software in a

day or two. There are far too many things that make this the software to stand

out.

Best wishes,

Dale

Hello everyone,

Namaste's and Greetings all around.

Thank you to Dean for the compliment re my software program.

To answer his questions myself:

GJ is still on the market. You can still purchase GJ, same price, same

everything.

I still support it personally on phone and through email.

I'm still selling the same version for 3 years now, which is version 2.26

I am slowly overcoming my depression. Lately I'm doing better than ever, so

that is to say, that slowly I'm getting over it. It takes time.

I am doing more now than I have in a very long time. I am catching up on old

email, and plan on finishing version 3, still.

I surely would like to finish version 3. It is almost done, and quite

interesting- there's nothing like it; it's different, in a good way, from

mine and other programs out already.

The depression issue is huge and complex. I've learned alot. Many things

affect us, and some of us just run down our reserves. I was such a driven

person who was not resupplying himself. So I'm learning how to be more

balanced.

GJ and PL, and other programs, vary in various ways. By now, others often

have more features than mine if you count somehow, but I often hear people

like mine better anyway. Usually it's because of the use-ability, ease,

friendly types of factors. People just like mine better, even if it doesn't

have XYZ fancy dasha system already. But of course, the others have their

fans and users too.

Sales are very slow, and I'm broke, but I can finish 3 to save my parade,

but for me, to be free from the intense personal internal pain I was in, is

such a boon. I am a much happier, more balanced, more peaceful person these

days. That's why I haven't been blasting my pain out on the list- I don't

have it- no way even close to like I used to. I used to have such intense

internal emotional pain. It was unreal. Now I don't. Due to various reasons,

meds, learning, controlling where I let my thoughts go, etc., I don't have

the pain.

I would venture to say mainly for me it's chemistry. The biggest help came

from meds, and supplements. From these, the most noticeable improvements

arose. Then excercise, rest, peaceful surroundings, a good friend who really

loves you and cares about you, and other things, then follow.

Anyway, Dean, thanks for asking. I welcome questions on these issues, GJ and

Depression should anyone have any others, since these two things rule my

life for years now.

By the way, I have painted many Celtic paintings by now. About 20 to 30

paintings in the last year of recovery. It's been a big help. Painting is a

very peaceful hobby. It helped to touch all that ancient stuff and feel

connected perhaps, a part of perhaps. When I joined Hare Krishna my family

was upset that I was "leaving my real roots". Now I've gone back and tasted

that more so than they had hoped ;-)

I have come to find, as have some others, that the best way to relate across

cultures is to not lose your own cultural identity. We never really can

anyway, so it's best to know it and use it. I tried to become a Hindu fully,

as did many others not Indian, but parts of us are always what we came from.

Now that I love and know Celtic history, I feel a completeness.

By the way, fate has it that a lovely, fragile, little female has joined me

in my apartment. I can't tell if she's sexy though, now do I know much about

what she thinks. She only weighs a couple ounces, because she's a Cockatiel!

She's sits on my shoulder while I answer email! She enjoys walking on the

keyboard, and flying around. She's a Suka, so she imitates. She was living

with a couple teenage girls, so right now she just knows their cell phone

ringers, which I get to hear alot each day. I should teach her to say "Get

to work you idiot".

Anyway, peace out, happy days to you all,

I'm returning to family names however, so this is sorting out to be the name

I'm going to use most likely

Om Namah Shivaya!

Namaste, Das Goravani!

Greetings. Allow to come... I am a student and apprentice of Jyotish, and I

live in the Brazil. I apologize if my English is incorrect, because I speak to

the Portuguese.

Know meantime, that desire strongly that he recovers of his depression,

because it is just a cycle in his life, of which can return with a larger

insight on himself, and the on his own one dharma. If it is possible, maintain

in mind, that his work in Jyotish, independent of the money, it is fundamental

and important for the illumination of many human consciences, in this maha yuga.

You can be sure that we make votes of improvements, and that can count with ours

positive thought in his favorecimento.

I am eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the Jyotish Studio 3. He would like

to buy him when it is ready, and if possible, to obtain a beta version.
