Dear Rina:

Part of the problem is that Jyotish/Astrology is a subjective science so

like psychology.... it does depend upon the subjectivity.... of the

Astrologer!

So....you're going to get differences....

Also, Jyotish is going through a huge period of renewal.... and it's so old

and there are so many different.... traditions....

And what needs to be done is to apply science to Jyotish and do a lot of

research....

So, you're right....we all are kind of 'experimental grounds...'

but it's okay, this knowledge is great and needs to be revived and brought

out....

I've been doing Jyotish for over 16 years and have discovered many wonderful

things... and am still learning each and every day....

Some Vedic seers even say that 'you will be your own best jyotishee'....!

and this is very in-tune with the philosophy of Vedic Knowledge...that

You... are the Self....!

and you!.....need to discover that!

And Jyotish is a great tool....for self-knowledge....

and good luck...

take care

ps.... I don't know if I told you but I have this daily, Jyotish newsletter

I create every day. It's focusing on the Transits, alot but lots of other

Jyotish knowledge too.
