Dear List Members and Respected Gurus,

I have a query regarding Gaja-Kesari Yoga. It is

formed when Jupiter is in quadrant to moon. Also, I

had read that Jupiter spoils the significations of

house, it is placed in. In my chart, Jupiter is placed

in 11th house (house of gains), conjoined by Moon

(Lord of 12th house i.e. Losses expenses) and this GKY

is in 11th house (also 7th from AL).

So does still GKY apply, as Jupiter will spoil results

of 11th house (house of gains) with moon (lord of 12th

denoting Expenses, Losses etc)?

I request Senior members / gurus to kindly comment on

the above mentioned GKY?

Sincere Regards,

Neeraj Gupta

PS: As per my experience, Jupiter MD was not

exceptionally good (it was normal) and I always have

some problems in periods of moon.

Dear Neeraj,

I have never personally heard of Jupiter harming the house it is in. If it was a

funtional malefic as per a specific ascendant, then I could see it bringing the

dussthanas owned into whatever house it may occupy, and thus some malevolence...

But usually Jupiter(Especially when strong) is the best planet for removing

undesirable outcomes due to where it is placed and its aspects...

A GKY in the 11th B should bring wealth, all other factors being equal, even

with Moon as 12th Lord.

Are the bindus in each of the 10th/11th and 1st Bhavas greater than those of the

12th Bhava? If so, then gains should outway expenses/losses...

Some Thoughts-

Namaste-

Dear Ashwin,

Namaste,

Thanks for your comments. Well I had heard that

Jupiter spoils the results of those houses (in which

it is placed, and improves the results of those

houses, which are aspected by jupiter). I guess, I

have read it also, Whenever I will get the source,

will mail to you. Here is the bindus for the

respective houses.

1st House - 31

2nd House - 20 (Guess its too weak, and it is house of

money)

3rd House - 27

4th House - 33

5th House - 25

6th House - 34 (Too strong, house of worries,

tensions, problems)

7th House - 29

8th House - 24

9th House - 32

10th House - 32

11th House - 27

12th House - 23

Yes 12th Lord had less bindus as compared to 1st, 10th

and 11th house.

Regards,

Neeraj Gupta
