True, the cyclical nature of my ups and downs were obvious, yet that didn't get through to my psychiatrist. Even still he doesn't buy that I'm bipolar. He prescribed the Lithium because I and my best friend begged him to- then once it worked, he said, "OK good, it's working". There's still no official diagnosis of anything other than recurring severe depression. Why? Partly because I would see him now and then for 10 minutes. That's not good enough, but it's typical these days. There's actually a shortage of psychiatrists in this part of Oregon. Even the county mental health office has a waiting line, which means street people die without help, for example. Nobody but one close friend could see it in me. And I myself fought it, as is typical for someone just coming to terms with something new in their lives of this magnitude. For this list, the lesson is to be aware. We are helping people who have problems and questions. Be aware. Learn. Be open. See signs. Try to give proper help for the real issues. In my chart there is extreme good, and extreme darkness. That should be noted. Practically there is black, and Gold, the extremities of Saturn, and Jupiter. Vascialating between exhileration and hopelessness, that is bipolar, and it's in my chart I think in this way.
