Guest guest
Dear Andrew, Dear List, Just checked on Mars going station this week. Station will be on Saturday here and is within a degree of Uranus, both in Dhanistha, Mars star. Moon also entering Mars star, Chitra, on Saturday. Sun, Mars, Saturn and Uranus all in sub of this Moon. Uranus is known to rule strong winds, storms and hurricanes. Although Moon is conjunct Ketu, also in Libra, they are very far apart, but still we understand Moon and Ketu being conjunct, and the interesting thing is Ketu is in Jupiter's star. Something specific for you Andrew as per your comments regarding this Jupiter and the effects on you currently with Jupiter in Dhanishtha in your 1H natally and in transit on your 7H, directly opposed this station Mars with Uranus.(And this stationed Mars less than one degree of your natal Moon and transiting R Uranus conjoined this Mars less than two degrees from your natal Moon and natal Uranus, with N Pluto also conjoined these in your 7H.) Three of these planets, Mars, Uranus and Saturn, are in air signs, with Sun in earth sign conjoined a Neecha Venus, both in Hasta, Moon's star and with this Mars aspect. And also Hasta's symbol is a closed hand or fist. It's interesting what you mentioned regarding the storms pounding the earth, and the restlessness of this combination. Dhanishtha's diety is the Vasus. They are traditionally known as personifications of natural phenomena like water, wind, earth, fire and are known as attendants upon Indra. In the Rig-Veda Indra is worshipped as a rain god and appeased as a storm god. He controls the weather and rules the atmosphere. As you mentioned there are high winds and storms in many places right now or have just passed as this R Mars at this very slow speed and about to go station. In my area, where hurricane Isabel hit, they expected the calm to follow the storm, but another night of high winds and rain and more flooding followed after the big storm had passed and we had experienced some of the immediate effects of 'the calm after the storm' following a hurricane. It was a different storm system which hit here following. It's very interesting to see the functional effects of this. Andrew I hope you are faring well and also your wife. Best regards, Patrice
Guest guest
Dear List, Another interesting thing with the Nakshatras and this stationing of Mars, who has been retrograde and as all know closer to Earth. As I included Saturn due to being in the sub of the Moon along with this Mars, Uranus, and Sun. Saturn is in the star of Ardra with Rahu as star Lord and Rahu in is Aries, Mars ruled. Ardra means wet or surcharged with water, symbol is a tear drop. Ardra's deity is Isa, a god associated with wind and destruction. Isa means lord and is a title of Shiva. Shiva is also considered to be Rudra, the god of storms, winds and death. He is the personification of the unrestrained power causing disaster and disarray. It's interesting to see this theme repeating itself in the Nakshatras in these transits and in the chart at the time of this stationed Mars, the effects in these large wind storms and Isabel hitting the eastern US, setting records, along with the fires ablaze in NSW Australia and other high wind storms Andrew mentioned. The Vasus including the personification of fire, from the deities of Dhanishta. There have also been a number of fires in the DC area. There is an arsonist who is thought to have started a great number of fires here and officials are trying to track him, as well as other fires not related. And in Montana in the western US, it was again having huge fire storms not long ago, I'm not sure if they are over or not. I love this with the Nakshatras and it continues but I won't here. Interestingly though, for Mars and Sun, both of fire element, Agni, one remedy I read was 'lamp, candle'. With all these storms and the electricity cut off many are forced to use lamps and candles... Peace, Patrice
