From what I understand so far,Chakras are energy centres in the body or a kind of antenna to absorb cosmic energy.There are 7 major chakras and each corresponds to one planet (rahu/ketu excluded). Chakras are non physical and it is through them that the gross material world is perceived.Rather,the gross is manifest due to the subtle and the gross physical body is the end point of the higher energies. ------ Could someone please give detailed information regarding the above? I wish to understand how things work at a subtle level. One more thing -- what exactly is aura? I have heard that some people have the ability to perceive the aura of others.Does aura have anything to do with chakras? One of the problems is that I scanned them vertically and they should be horizontal. If when you open them you can rotate them, you can get the information. Since doesn't allow attachments anymore, please email me, and I will email them to you as attachments. I was also able to copy them into a Word 2001 file. I work on a Mac, so you would probably have to have compatible OS/MSW to read them in the Word format. Briefly each of the chakras has a color, element, a deity, a root letter, etc., i.e., 1st , (root) chakra, red, Earth element, presiding deity Ganesha; 2nd chakra (reproduction), white, water element, deity Brahman; 3rd chakra, (navel), yellow, fire element, deity Vishnu; 4th chakra, heart, color green, air element, presiding deity Ishan Rudra; 5th chakra (throat), blue, ether element, presiding deity, Sada Shiva; 6th chakra (between eyebrows), white, element Cosmic Mind, deity, Shiva; 7th chakra (crown of head), multicolored (thousand-petaled lotus), beyond all elements and colors, presiding deity Lord Shiva, the Absolute. OR to put it another way -- are MIND,SUBTLE BODY,AURA,CHAKRA SYSTEM the same? Regarding gemstones -- How exactly do they work? what is the mechanism? From what I have heard,gems have an aura of their own which mixes with your aura and causes changes. I know of course that destiny cannot be changed.So if one is to get benefit from using gemstones,that is predestined too. I am a cancer ascendant with mars combust in 9th house and moon debilitated in 5th.Will I benefit greatly by wearing the gemstones of these two planets? Thank you, vivek.
