Dear Marcus & Mary....

 

Loved your question and thoughts about jealousy, etc.

I don't know what to tell you regarding Jealousy. My

knee-jerk reacton was Scorpio, but if we're talking

about suspicious and imprisoning behavior then it

seems to me Saturn is behind it.

 

But, Marcus, I think you said it well, when you

identified your friends, 7th House,... signication of

relationships, business affairs as well as romantic....ones..

 

And Venus, of utmost importance...for one's karmic relations

with women...

 

and of course....Mars!

 

If you say it's aspecting the 7th then

Voila!

 

there you go...

 

 

But, as you might imagine, this is only 1/2 the story....

 

I realized awhile ago...that Jyotish not only has the power

to perceive and predict where all our challenges will be...

from our charts....

 

 

But, contained within those 'malefic' situations...

 

is really!

 

the solution as well....

 

I once did the chart of a man who came to me,

dragged really, by his 4th wife...

and he told me flat out...

'Don't you, blame me. I know they're at fault'...

 

and I thought, wow, that must be Mars! somewhere, pivotal...

 

And yes, he had it square in the middle of his 7th House...

So, he was blaming them,

was in fact, attracting, Marish women...

out of balance...with similar challenges...

 

And when I said,...'well, I'm sure they had something to do with

your challenges but let's look at your chart.'

 

And yes, I had to tell him, he wanted to know...

 

but I said, you have a lot of other wonderful qualities...

for example he had an absolutely incredible Venus

in his 10th house and was well loved at work...

and got along fabulously...

 

but in this instance...

in his 7th house affairs...

he was deeply suffering...

 

So, not only do the situations in our charts...represent

our tendencies; good and bad...

but especially with the malefic one's...

 

contain, literally the Jyotish Solution!

 

So, I suggested to him,... you have what I think of as the

club apprach to marriage...

 

You wield that Mars club...and it's not getting you anywhere!

 

So, look just make an experiment...

 

Be sweet!...be that sweet Venus energy....

 

that you know you can do...from your work house...

 

be that way with your wife...

 

and give it some time...

 

Try this for 2 weeks... and call me back...

 

Well, after 3 weeks he called and he said, in a rather

mischevious way, ...

oh, how's it going, I said...

and

his first words seemed very disheartening...

'oh...I don't...know...

but then he laughed and said, you won't believe

it my wife says I can't do anything wrong...!!!!'

 

 

And that was a very powerful experience for me...because

it comfirmed very practically...that we not only can break

through our 'malefic' patterns...

 

but we're absolutely meant...to.

 

 

Unfortunately, we often lack the knowledge as to how to do it!

 

 

But, that's so wonderful about Jyotish...

and all aspects of Vedic Science....

 

teaching us how to live life....

 

more in-tune with the Cosmos!

Hello Marcus,

 

Welcome to the list.

 

It's kind of a wierd time right now. This isn't the

only list that is currently consumed with personal

issues and having trouble being more than halfhearted

on the astrological aspects.

 

I wonder if it's the heat. Sounds mighty coincidental

that Mars is reaching such a close pass to Earth and

here we are ping-ponging between sex and impatience

(in every sense of the word impatience).

 

I don't know what to tell you regarding Jealousy. My

knee-jerk reacton was Scorpio, but if we're talking

about suspicious and imprisoning behavior then it

seems to me Saturn is behind it. The problem I find

with looking for what represents Jealousy in a general

way, is that so many different factors can point to

it. With just about any trait one can think of 47

different ways to see it, as well as it may not show

in a personality even if the "classic" signs are in

the chart. After all, a chart is a composite of many

things not just something that represents Jealousy,

and something that represents Suicide, or whatever

else we happen to be looking for.

 

So really, it seems that one should look at each

individual chart. I've noted over almost of year of

listening in on this list that the questions which

stand the best chance of being answered are the ones

accompanied by the specifics of a particular chart.

So, if you are interested in Jealousy, you may wish to

acquire the chart details of one of these, uh,

restricting females.

 

Here's another thought (an ominous sentence, now I

come to think about it). Your friend has Saturn conj

Venus in the 7th aspected by Mars. Is it possible that

the one with Jealousy issues is him? Is he searching

for it? Maybe he needs it in order to deal with some

part of himself. Maybe he deliberately presses those

buttons with his female friends, that helps them try

to control and mistrust him. No fault finding to

either side, here. I just mean that maybe Jealousy is

a two way street. After all, the 7th has those

qualities about ourselves that we project onto other

people. Makes sense to me, anyway.
