Guest guest
Hi, I am stuck. Currently am doing a double Rahu Mahadas chart. That is, both the major or subperiod are in Rahu. Since I use a specific layout, I'm not sure how to do the subperiod of Rahu. Such as, Juxtaposition? Or Navamsa? Friend/Enemy? Etc. This chart is all ready difficult, as both her Rahu is on the cusp, and the lordship its borrowing (Merc) is also on the cusp. So any information would be appreciated. Thank you. Guest guest
See Rahus dispositors in rasi, navamsa, nakshatra, and any planets in rahu ruled nakshatras,as well as saturn to decide what houses(especially by lordship) and planets are activated, especially note where rahu is transiting. These hints will help, you can also check the third level if you are past ra_ra_raNamaste, dave
Guest guest
Thank you Dave, for replying. I understand how to figure out Rahu, lordsihps, Saturn, etc; but not how to write down the description of a double period. (This could actually happen with any planet.)She is in a Maha Rahu and Rahu Sub. While I could look to the next period it wont help me figure out how to describe this one (or both). Do I say, for example, "Your Rahu is zero houses away from your Mahadas rahu?" ha She is a Scorpio rising, running her rahu period, Rahu in the 11th house of Virgo whose lordship, Merc, is to be found in the 9th H in Ca conjunct with Ravi. Interestingly, both Rahu AND Merc are on the cusp! So Merc is technically also in the 8th H Gemini somewhat, and Rahu somewhat in the 10th of Leo. So I have all these on the cusp, yet I have to merge them (along with Saturn and Venus) and than say "Rahu, as your subperiod is ? H away from Rahu in your Mahadas?" Or that its in a different house? Or sign? As would be done with a different planet? Doesnt make sense. I may not be formulating this question properly, which is why its so wordy. HELP! :-) Tulasi gjlist, DaveBirr@a... wrote: > See Rahus dispositors in rasi, navamsa, nakshatra, and any planets in rahu ruled > nakshatras,as well as saturn to decide what houses(especially by lordship) > and planets are activated, especially note where rahu is transiting. These hints > will help, you can also check the third level if you are past ra_ra_raNamaste, > dave > > >
Guest guest
Dear Tulasi, a few more suggestions.Look to the rasi aspects to rahu in both D1 and D9.See the house position of rahu from sun and moon using whole sign houses.Consider the shakti of rahu's nakshatra and mercury's naksahtra.See the placement of rahu from its dispositor mercury in D1 and D9.Make rahu a lagna and read the chart from there.Namaste, dave
Guest guest
Thank you David, <sigh> Though I think you are not understanding my question, or that I did not ask it properly. I should have picked a different label for the subtitle of my post. Or just omitted the words "Rahu." Could we, just for a moment, forget about Rahu? So I am doing a Mahadas. I first do the major period. Now I go onto the subperiod. Since a planet, any planet, starts a Mahadas double, for example SATURN/saturn is a Saturn Maha period and a saturn subperoid too; or VENUS/venus is Venus as the Major period but also venus as the Subperiod. With that said....... So here I am trying to do part two of someones chart going thru such a double period. How do I explain to them the relationship of the two planets? Do I say Venus is best friends with itself? lol Or the juxtaposition? In the subperiod chart, do I say VENUS and venus are zero houses away from each other, and try to explain what that means, if it is benefic or malefic? You see my dilemma? I am sure there is a perfectly sane explanation for "how to chart a Subperiod going running a double dasa," as astrologers do such charts all the time. But I have never done one of this nature (one planet running BOTH dasas), so this is my problem. Anybody?
