I look at this as a kind of "Cosmic Intellegence Test".

For example, you live in a small villiage. At the end of a certain street, just

outside of town, is a cliff

from which you would fall to certain death (an undesirable outcome, in almost

all circumstances). Now,

everyone in the villiage is convinced that there is a large treasure at the end

of this street, if you run out

and jump off the cliff, and land on the invisible ledge just to the other side.

After all, everyone who does

it never comes back to the boring villiage ever again. What do you do? You

walk to the edge, and enjoy

the beautiful view. The foolish rush over the ledge, and remove themsleves from

the gene pool.

Most of this stuff in life is like that. Ignore it, learn what it is really

about, and discard the bits that do not

matter. What we really need is Uncommon Sense and Good Judgement. This will

produce Good Values

and Proper Conduct (more inclusive and flexible than Moral Conduct. Moral

Conduct implies external controls

and they eventually fail If they didn't we would still live in the '50's.)

Framweorks guide and serve; rulebooks

foment revolt. If there is no example, there is nothing to follow. So be that

example, those who see the truth

will follow the truth.

If course, it may be a bit much to expect in the Kali Yuga.

My $0.02.

John
