An interesting question . The moon rules actors and is 7th Lord (ruling the

public) placed in the 10th house so perhaps this is one reason

why the native achived success in acting rather than singing .There are

certainly good actors that do not crack the big time and some who do crack

the big time

are quite lamentable .Mercury is weakened somewhat by being in infancy and

therefore may not give full results .

I'm not sure also why you say that Virgo is the house of voice for

Capricorns .
