Guest guest
Dear Vivek, Nice of you to answer me. So, at 18 I was in a very good place and went off to college. At 36 I had my masters degree in computer education, but it seemed to me that no dramatic change occurred in my life. In fact I was in a bit of a rut, just living life and doing the best job I could. Now, I am going to retire next year. So, my assumption is that I will be entering a new phase in my life, as I did when I was 18. Does this sound like a good interpretation? I thought that the nodes were malefic? I am in Rahu/Rahu now. Chris H.
Guest guest
Dear Chris I have seen the nodal return be quite dramatic in goods ways. Look at your chart and see if you are utilizing your talents. Notice what you are drawn to. Think back, as Vivek suggested, but really go deep to see where you were and how things evolved in all levels, but particularly in the area of the houses where the nodes are. c - "Chris Hanlon" <chrys333 <gjlist> Monday, June 09, 2003 9:44 AM [GJ] Rahu/Ketu > Dear Vivek, > Nice of you to answer me. Guest guest
Hi again, I just had a look at your chart.rahu/ketu are at 00:12 deg of taurus/scorpio using true nodes. So there is still time for the nodal return to take place.(the nodes may be at a different degree with mean nodes -- right now I do not have an ephemeris for that date. But I believe MEAN nodes to be right) Your mars dasha must have been pretty bad as mars is malefic for you and posited in a dusthana. Regarding nodes being malefic or benefic -- The rule to be followed is that rahu rules aquarius and ketu rules pisces. If a node rules first house or a trine- 5/9 he is highly benefic thus rahu is very good for gemini/libra/aquarius.ketu is very good for cancer/scorpio/pisces. If a node rules a kendra(quadrant) he is good too --- but if that kendra is the 7th house,he acts as a maraka too -- that is mixed results. For you rahu is malefic as he rules the 6th a dusthana. Guest guest
The nodes make the Moon wobble, which means, among other things "different". "Different" is often what is required to "make a change" or "make a difference". I have Rahu in the 5th, which is Children, Creativity, among other things. My children are "different" from the other kids. They've always felt this and continue to, and it affects their lives, for both better and worse. They had Hare Krishna upbringing, to a slighter degree than in the temples, but it was good for them, but also set them apart, which hurt them socially, in some ways. It's a trade off. Creatively, I've surely been called "gifted" in that department many times, in all of music, painting, programming. Yet, my creativity is not "normal". My programming is internally not "conventional" and other programmers have laughed at it a few times. My children have both been seriously harmed in accidents. Creatively, I do things "wrong" and "different". But it has to be "wrong" to be "different" as norms are confining, repititious by nature, and don't stand out. So, the nodes give and take both. Utilize the "difference" and tolerate the rest.
