Guest guest
Long ago... Perhaps there were originally seven races. The Celts had a culture quite unique, not like the "standards" of Greko/Roman, hence it was wiped out. Who else makes bragging and insulting the main part of a party? Such was the nature of the Helvetii and other Chieftans that Rome called them "Gauls" or "Roosters" for their colors and strutting about on the battlefield. The passion of the Celts is not honored today, hence we end up alchoholics, repressed, depressed, sad, isolated. We are PASSIONATE with a capital P. We need to dance every day, live in bussling villages, know each other, our many, be together, live passionately, creatively, musically, and spiritually. Perhaps this is why I was rather happy in a temple with many others, always having Kirtan, ie, the Bengali culture of Sri Caitanya (another very passionate spiritual culture) worked for me greatly. I loved the post by David on the matter, thank you. In any case, in Gaelic, in my Celtic books, in my yes, Lindisfarne and Kells Gospels, in Celtic music, in the eyes of the Scots and Irish lassies I know today, in the freckles, even in the depression, in all that is ours, I am finding myself, and it feels self, for now, and it is beautiful. Everyone, has a tribe, a race, and there is no such thing as "white people", as their tribes, ways, cultures are many and varied. Everyone has a right to find the colors they are made of and find it beautiful. Africa is not "one", and neither is Europe, nor India. We are diverse. We are all beautiful in various ways. Love to you ALL Another blurt. roik
