Guest guest
The "benefic" you're referring to in this case is caused only by the Moon's lordship over a certain house, a benefic house, for this particular chart's ascending sign. It's not taking into account it's waning/waxing status. So, in other words, it's not a complete "benefic". The derivation of my "benefic" is perhaps too simplistic, as it comes from only one consideration, and there are always a number of considerations in nearly all parts of Jyotish. das
Guest guest
Thanks Das, But according to Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra,Ch.34 Sloka 25-26: "... The Moon is the prime killer, but it is dependent on her association." And in this chart, the Moon is in the 8th House - death. I have also been told that the second house is an evil house. So how can the Moon be Benefic? Guest guest
You can adjust the Malefics and Benefics in GJ. Check that out. If you disagree with what has been preset, you can change it. My settings are somewhat liberal compared to the ideas of others, and some classics, ie, I might have set "benefic" for a planet that others would call a malefic, ie, lord of the 2nd as a malefic.
