Guest guest
Congratulations to Ajit Bhrngarkar TEST 78—REPORT Test No. 78 concerned a young man born on 27 February 1991 at 1:57 am AEDT (-11Hrs to GMT) in Sydney NSW ( 33S50, 151E12). Ascendant 7Cp28, MC 20Vi39, Moon 9Le23.The exercise was to find which of the following five events occurred in his life on 25 Feb 2003. 1. He won an important sporting event. 2. He left on an overseas trip with his father. 3. He underwent surgery. 4. He started at a new school. 5. His mother died. The correct answer was No. 2—he left on an overseas trip with his father. There were 44 respondents from around the world. Seven found the correct solution at the first attempt. Methods used were: Vedic, 20. Progressions & Transits (with or without Solar Ret, Lunar Ret. or Age Harmonic), 13. Profections, Firdaria, 4. Solar and/or Lunar Return. 4 Solar-Arc Directions, 2. Not stated, 1 Here are the correct answers: Firdaria period rulers: Saturn - Mars Saturn, universal significator of father in a night chart, rules the 3rd House of travel Mars, universal significator of men, rules the 5th House of short journeysProfected Asc = 12th, Sagittarius on the cusp ruled by Jupiter Jupiter rules the 4th House of the father and is in the Profected 9th House of long journeysThe Solar Return for the 2003 birthday has Sagittarius on the Asc with Jupiter in the Solar Return 9th House of long journeys. -- Jane Griscti, Canada. He was in his Mercury-Rahu dasa (Rahu = northnode). Mercury is conjunct the Sun and the Sun is significator for the father. The Sun is lord of the 9th and the 9th is also the significator for the father; besides for overseas trips. Rahu is significator for foreign countries. Planets, in the nakshatra's (a mooncalender) of the dasa rulers are activated too: The Sun is in the nakshatra of Rahu. -- Fenneke Monchen, Holland. I am using the Sidereal Zodiac. Using Secondary Progressions I found that his Sun is onthe cusp of the 4th house while Moon, Uranus and Neptune are rising. Sun isconjunct Mercury in the 3rd in the natal chart and hence aspecting the9th of travelling abroad. At the time of event, the Moon was transiting in the12th of foreign lands, while Saturn(ruler of 4th) along with Pluto wereaspecting strongly the MC/IC axis. When these planets transit the angles ofthe horoscope, the native may go abroad. -- Pingo Mutombo, Czechoslovakia. Sec.Pr. Sun -0- 4 Cusp -120- Pluto: Sec.Pr. Moon -0- Uranos Natal; Sec. MC -120- Saturn N.; Sec.AC -0- Neptune N. ) Son-Father; Solar Return Moon -0- C 9/Eq; Solar-Arc Moon -0- C 9 and -60- transit Saturn ; And as the trip took place after his birthday we can have a look at the next Solar Return too and there is a Solar Jupiter conjunction with the Natal Moon - again Father / Son connection in 5 H Father. 11th Harmonic: Sun -60- Asc; Moon -60- n.Uranos; Uranus -0-Vertex, -120- n.Cusp 4 Lunar Venus )co/ruler 5 H. )recreation -0- Uranus, Lunar Jupiter opp. Neptune, Lunar Saturn sextile C 9 -- Paul Langeveld, Holland. I am using System's approach to analyze the chart in question. As per sidereal chart the ascendant is 29Scorpio57. He was runningMe-Ra-Ra period.Around Feb. 25, 2003, benefic lord of 3rd and 4th housesSaturn in transit was moving slow and hence prominently influencingeffective points of houses 7, 9, 1, and 4. Saturn's transit indicateshappiness through foreign connection and travel (1st & 4th houses ruleself/happiness and 7th & 9th houses rule foreign lands and travelrespectively). Tr Jupiter was also closing on natal Moon, indicatingsome close family association with father playing the main role.I therefore suspect of #2 (He left on an overseas trip with his father.) -- Ajit Bhingarkar, USA Uranian: By solar-arc direction (12 01) JU, MC = ME/SA/Nnode = Fortunate and happy trip. Travel in company. Saturn SD Feb. 22. -- Shirley Gray (USA). For the period in question the Firdaria rulers are Saturn and Jupiter. The profected ruler of the year is also Jupiter. Jupiter is in relatively good shape and in mutual recpetion with the Sun (without aspect) the Sun also rules the 9th house (foreign travel) -- so there is a travel and father link and generally speaking Jupiter indicates "good" events. Jupiter is also conjunct the Moon (movement/change) in the natal chart and happens to also be transiting the Moon's natal position. Jupiter's location in the profected chart for the year is in the 9th house as well. Finally, the Solar Return chart (although it effectively takes place after the date) shows the ruler of the chart (Jupiter again) located in the 9th house (foreign travel) for the year. February 25 was Jupiter's day -- it seemed like a good day to fly. -- Mark Gemmill, Canada. Congratulations to all who attempted a solution. A new Test will be posted in June. Dymock Brose, Adelaide.
