astrology which will really help in predictive part.

 

I have also read almost similar rules in many books

and summary from it I have given below.

 

I would like to request attention of experienced

experts for the benifit of all astrology students for

some confusions which everyone face at many stages of

learning process.

Your summary of benefic or malefic as per asc is correct (You

forgot to consider rahu and ketu though).

Basically,benefic and malefic is in a material sense.The planets

are higher entities or manifestations of the lord(physical planets

are only their reflections on the material plane).In a strict

sense they are neither your friends nor foes.They are only giving

you dues of your past karmas.

Understanding planetary natures perfectly is essential.saturn is

by nature a strict task master and a chastiser so even if he is

neutral, he will act overall malefic.that is he will

delay,restrain,disappoint. that is saturn's nature.But in the end

he will give you good too.

He may make you work hard but he will give results too.

Jupiter is a natural benefic.so even if he is functional malefic

to your sign,it is auspicious to have jupiter in lagna or

trines.this protects you from evil all your life.

You have asked whether saturn will be just harmless or actual

benefic for libra.--- Libra lagna is totally exempt from all

negative effects of saturn.he will be actual benefic.highly

benefic in fact.(note that this does not include sadesati.ss is

bad for all)

Regarding planetary conjunctions,planets affect each other

according to their own nature.for example:if saturn conjuncts or

aspects venus,there will be denial of pleasures as saturn has to

do with denial and disappointment.If jupiter aspects saturn,the

malefic effects of saturn are greatly reduced,etc.
