There can be cases where sun is well placed and benefically disposed but the 9th house is badly afflicted --- or you can have an excellent 9th house but a debilitated or badly afflicted sun.In such cases,how do you judge the father?(the same could be the case with mother or spouse too) This is what I think -- correct me if I am wrong ------------------------- The sun governs what your father is as a person.his nature,etc.while the 9th house governs how he is disposed towards you or how much you can gain from him etc One's father may be a very nice person but may not be well disposed towards you OR he could be a bad person but very nice towards you. Guest guest Posted May 11, 2003 Report Share Posted May 11, 2003 I wish to add something:-- Someone had suggested that nature of father/mother/spouse can be ascertained by using one's one horoscope with 9th,4th,7th respectively being treated as first house --- for example,mothers nature will be somewhat like your own horoscope with 4th house treated as first house. I tried this out --- I am sorry to say,it does not work.
