There is one degree for each planet in each rasi which is considered the death degree .There is also a rising mrtyu bhagya for each Lagna . A planet placed on that degree in the natal chart or within one degree either side may cause early death or illness . The table is found in Ernst Wilhelm's book Vault of the Heavens Ernst is probably the best person to ask detailed questions about this . Guest guest Posted April 27, 2003 Report Share Posted April 27, 2003 Dear Mu, Mrityubhaga is Fatal Degree in each sign- planets conj that degree bring poor health, blemish house promises etc. In fact if I remember what I've read, two types of influences /ADVERSE-that's the point/ can be physical harm to the native, at worst, or loss of auspiciousness of the planet/house, at best. Degrees mentioned /Ernst Wilhelm/ are different for each planet in each sign /read: I decided not to 'bother'/ In 'Vault' /E.Wilhelm/ there is a list and aspects, and some interpretation. Hope this helps- as an orientation, at least. Add arab points /vedic counterpar/... But there is a list of Moon's auspicious degrees in each sign, too /to finish with positive/ in the same book.
