Retrograde Vs. Directional Planets

Hi All,

Been following along with the discussion on Retrograde

vs. Direct moving planets. These are my thoughts.

It is my view, based on my researches and

observations, that Retrograde planets, in the main,

are much weaker than their more direct moving

counterparts. The only consistent exceptions to this

rule is Rahu and ketu, which by their very nature move

backward through the heavens.

Rx planets also suggest a "hidden agenda" in terms of

the planet so Rx; so therefore, if Mercury is Rx,

there is another level of thinking, a line of reason,

that is not easily apparent for all to see. In teh

case of venus Rx, again there is the sense of two

seperate tracks of romantic/social/sexual ideals and

goals; in the chart of a female, Venus Rx can be very

important and telling in terms of how she views

herself as a woman, and in terms of how she can relate

sexually.

Generally speaking, Rx benefics tend to have their

"good" power weakened; in the case, Rx malefics tend

to have their "bad" power reduced.

Hope this helps the discussion along somewhat.

Salaam,

Mu
