Kuja Dosha and Other Problematic Things, to Anna

Hi Anna,

There are scores of ways to look at all of these

things, who will victimize who in the relationship and

so on. I think it all comes down to assessing the

basics in the chart and applying commonsense.

For example, you see in the chart of a male, the Moon

placed in the 8th/Aries, aspected by both Saturn and

Rahu. Venus is debilitated, and asepcted by Mars,

let's say its most problematic aspect, its 8th house

aspect.

The 7th lord is placed in a Trik house, giving rise to

what is known as Dushkriti Yoga; this recurs from both

the Moon and Venus, let's say.

The Moon in the Navamsa is again challenged in some

way, and Venus is Vargottma in the worst way, as it

again is debilitated. Let's say also that Kuja Dosha

is seen in this chart, the Navamsa as well, a very

strong one.

You see the Dasa of Mars coming up, keeping mind its

Sandhi/Sama Dasa points, as well as the sub periods of

Saturn, Rahu, Moon and Venus. All of this cannot look

good in terms of relationships - let's assume that

this guy has yet to turn age 30, too.

Now, let's say that he's hooked up with a woman that

has, among other things, no KD in either the Rasi or

Navamsa charts. Her Asc is aspected by Saturn and the

Lagnesh is weakly placed, both of these factors

suggesting strongly a weak personality and overall

strength of character. We can reasonably assume then,

that this woman may indeed be on the receiving end of

attacks and the like from this man. It is something to

look out for.

I have in my files the chart of a woman who has Cancer

Asc with the Moon in the 7th and Venus in the 1st. No

doubt, as such a combination would suggest, she is

beautiful, but there are some serious relationship

flies in the ointment. Note that 7th lord Saturn is in

the 2nd house with Mars. From the Moon, this gives

rise to a serious case of Kuja Dosha, as Mars is in

the 8th house from the Moon and closely conjunct

Saturn. In that both of these planets are in the 2nd

from both the Asc and Venus, it suggests that there

maybe a level of sexual dissatisfaction with the men

she has hooked up with. Saturn's role here in the

2nd/8th houses can also suggest USING SEX in a

strategic way, for leverage for gain in same way. This

woman is an adult model, exotic dancer, and porn

actress.

Note also, how the Lords of the 1-7 axis are 6-8 from

each other; this suggests strongly that this woman may

se men as enemies in some way; there is a good bit of

insecurity and the like here, clearly linked to the

early home life (2nd house) and Father (9th lord

Jupiter in the 12th with 12th lord Mercury and 2nd

lord Sun). This woman's father left her early on in

life, and has remained distant.

Note that in the Navamsa, Mars is in the Cancer Asc,

again bringing into focus Kuja Dosha. And, this

placement of Mars definitely brings Martian qualities

of the more problematic type; she be seen as bossy,

demanding, even too pushy, for many men.

It goes without saying that, without much

introspection and understanding of her past, and,

without linking her with a man who at the very least

had a very strong Venus, things would be very

difficult indeed for her.

I hope this can helps along in our discussion a bit.

Salaam,

Mu

Dear Mu,

This is an excellent lesson on Jyotish- so articulate,

elloquent, 'vibrant' text indeed! then

your text on retrograde planets and their 'hidden agenda'

/your term/

and your previous posts- my first idea was that you

should publish your lucid observations, so that more

students and jyotishi alike, can benefit from your talent

and experience.

Thanks for your posts,

Anna
