Dear Sateesh:

I thought of another way of describing my original query to the list

on the Jupiter-Cancer/Mars-Capricorn opposition, effective today

with Mars' entry into Capricorn.

If you envision the chart as a "wheel" (as in Western astro), you

will see the Mars-Jupiter opposition on two of the cardinal points

(Cancer and Capricorn). If you intersect the line drawn between

Cancer-Capricorn, the line will be Aries-Libra (or at the Full

Moon, the Aries-Libra Sun-Moon opposition). This creates a

"Grand Cross" at cardinal points, exerting maximum tension

because of the opposition (180-degree aspect) of Sun-Moon (at

Full Moon) and Mars-Jupiter (Cancer-Capricorn). I am calling this

a "Grand Square" because EACH of the planets ALSO aspects

(by 90 degrees) the next, going around the wheel from Aries

(SUN), Cancer (JUPITER), Libra (MOON), and Mars

(CAPRICORN). EVERYONE will experience this at the Libra Full

Moon, April 16-17, in different houses depending on the Lagna.

If you know, or follow this, it is a "double whammy" for me

because with a Cancer Lagna, both TR SUN, TR MERCURY

AND NT MOON are in House 10, opposite TR LIBRA MOON (180

degree aspect), and squaring the MARS-JUPITER OPPOSITION

(90-degree aspect).

A T-square, then, is when you have the opposition (180-degree

aspect) and the line that intersects at the center pointing to a

house. The opposition of two planets intersecting, EACH

aspecting the third planet at 90 degrees, creates a square, or

T-sqaure, with the opposition. When you add the fourth vertical

line, it is a Grand Cross.

Because this activity is a "cardinal" grand cross a the Full Moon, I

thought others might have insights and might find it of interest.

What do you mean by " the Functional impact for each Lagna?"

Cynthia can sum up the generalised way Mars-Cap opp

Jup-Canc would manifest.
