Guest guest
How many people use the graphical ephemeris? Is it something that is very useful, or equal in the other sources of information? I don't know how to read one, so I am trying to figure it out from an article in Mountain astrologer. Thanks, chrys333
Guest guest
I find the graphic ephemeris very useful in getting a one or multi-year overview of transits and/or progressions for any individual. Basically when a moving curved planetary line crosses a horizontal natal planet line there is as aspect formed and a "peak" of the energy. More times than not there is a major event or stress/crisis in the individual's life at the point of those intersecting lines. The easiest to use would be a 90 deg. graph, but not much harder (and more illustrative) would be the 45 deg graph showing all aspects of the 8th harmonic (semisquare, square, sesquiquadrate, opposition). Graphic ephemerises are very effective ways to get right to the heart of the matter in regards to transits, but also such things as secondary, tertiary, and minor progressions; they are wonderful for solar arcs as well.
