My methods of predicting the outcome of this game show clearly that there is

still work to be done. The first 2 methods have never given consistent results

and maybe I need to experiment with Sanjay's suggestion of working with the

Navamsa instead. The technique that is most successful is Method 3; i.e. the

Managers planets must come to the Angles (1st, 4th, 7, 10th) in the chart of

the game to bring the scores and specifically the degree rising on the

Ascendant.

Eddie O’Sullivan, the Irish Manager had 2 planets in angles to Ascendant

degree rising during the first half and achieved 2 scores. He also had Mercury

and Rahu give the strong possibility of a score but these opportunities were

lost. After the Lagna passed 22degrees of Cancer, he had to wait until it

reached 5degrees of Leo to score again but the game finished with the Lagna at

3.55LEO. Brian O Driscoll, the Irish captain had a poor game and even had to

go off before the end, his planets would not cross the ASC Degree DURING the

Game and so did not get the scoring chances and made mistakes that were out of

character.

Clive Woodward, the English Manager, had 3 possible chances in the 1st half and

scored all three. He needed the Lagna to come to 1degree Leo to make a deep

impact as he had his Mars at 1degree Scorpio and was sure to dominant the

scoreboard at that time. Five minutes after the Ascendant changed to Leo

England were unstoppable. They scored 29 points in the last 15 minutes and

Ireland had no reply. The nakshatra rising was Magha, the king and England

proved themselves worthy champions. Both teams were unbeaten coming into this

game and while the Irish team would be devastated to be beaten so badly in the

Final they know they have the ability to do better.

This is an interesting way of watching a game but requires the birth data of the

players, if one had the time of birth, the results would be even better as with

this method we do not know the Moon’s exact position nor do we have the

Ascendant. Yet, even without this the ability to read the trend of the game is

there.
