Guest guest
What tool are u using to look at the planetary speeds? Does it also give u the ingress of the planets? It will only move 1 minute from the 2nd to the 7th: It stations at 14:09 and this is the time it takes to go from 14:!0 back to 14:10. Still, if you have a planet within 3 degrees of this point you already feel it. It feels like great potential about to break. I think that the transit of Mars in Cap beginning in Mid April will really stimulate the Mars. c - Sateesh Batas GJ List Cc: cynthianovak Wednesday, March 26, 2003 2:23 PM [GJ] Cynthia - Jupiter station days Dear Cynthia, Jupiter station-directs on 04th April - but what dates does the "stationing" take place from? 3 days before, and 3 days after? Saturn was 5 days, as I recall. Guest guest
Dear Sonia Your ephemeris has turned the signs....no we mean constellations in sidereal zodiac...into numerical equivalents. 0-29:59 is Aries, 30-59:59 is Taurus, 60-89:59 is Gemini and Cancer is 90-109:59 so your 104 r 16 would translate as 14 Cancer 16 retrograde and it looks like it goes driect on the 2nd in your ephemeris. It sounds like you need a more detailed ephemeris if you need the time of day. I use my Solar Fire program to calculate this. I set it for Lahiri and CST or CDT and let it do the work. If you have parashara's light, it will run a calendar with this information. I don't know how it can be done on other programs. c - sonia tanganchi gjlist Sunday, March 30, 2003 8:20 AM Re: Attn Cynthia - [GJ] Cynthia - Jupiter station days Dear Cynthia Thank-you for the info. I was wondering how u got this time : "It stations at 14:09 and this is the time it takes to go from 14:!0 back to 14:10." I have a KP ephemeris but it only lists as follows for Jupiter : Apr 1 Tue 18-05-47 104R 16 Apr 2 Wed 18-09-43 104 16 Apr 3 Thu 18-13-40 104-16 Sorry, by ingress, I mean the exact time a planet enters a particular sign. I am simply looking at the degree and minutes. I have text versions that are great to look into. You really get a feel for the flow of the planets. I also run one from my Solar Fire program. I set it to show the movement of the planets every 3 days. That way I have several years at my finger tips sitting on my desk. No need to open a book. c - sonia tanganchi gjlist Thursday, March 27, 2003 7:45 PM Attn Cynthia - [GJ] Cynthia - Jupiter station days Dear Cynthia What tool are u using to look at the planetary speeds? Guest guest
Thank-you. Looks like I will have to save for a program. I only have the freewares at the moment - Jlite and Junior Jyotish. Guess I can still do it but it will be really tedious keying in the different times until I get the planetary degree at zero.
