Guest guest
Dear Sateesh, >What ayanamsa are you using, and what is the offset from Lahiri? > >I was wondering how you got both events happening on the same day - then >realised that no matter what ayanamsa one uses, Stationing of a planet >ALWAYS happens the same time. Yes, stationing happens irregardless of ayanamsa, and Saturn's entering Gemini will of course change. The ayanamsa I use is about 10 arc minutes more than Deva-datta ayanamsa, or about 12 1/2 arc minutes less than Lahiri. Previously, on Jan 10-11th I also had Mercury's and Saturn's retrograde transit into Sagittarius and Taurus resp. happening within 34 hours from each other. Remarkably, I was traveling back home from a vacation at this exact time. My lagna is Cancer. Yours sincerely, Dhira Krsna dasa
