Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Tushar, Ashtottari Dasa is applicable for the charts meeting the following conditions. 1) Rahu is in Quadrant OR Trines to Lagna lord And 2) Birth in Day time during Krishna Paksha (Waning moon) or night time during Sukla paksha (Waxing Moon). (refer BPHS 48) If you obeserve Ashtottari Dasa the planet Ketu is excluded from the dasa. Ketu is the governor for the dasa. People with the Ashtottari applicable can have domination effects of Ketu ( either Exporting, Spirituality etc). Look at house owned by Ketu(Scorpio) for more clues. For a very good understanding of the dasa systems you can refer to 'Vimsottari and Udu Dasas' by Pt. Sanjay Rath.
