The Breakdown of Tony Blair's Gov't

Posted by Mu'Min M. Bey on Tuesday, 18 March 2003, at 6:20 a.m.

All,

It has just been reported that House of Commons member Robin Cook has

resigned his office over his strong disagreement with his Prime

Minister, Tony Blair, and the policies that he has taken in support of

GWB and the impedning Attack on Iraq.

Cook is viewed as one of the most eloquent speakers in the history of

the House of Commons, and an effective legislator, with a career

spanning 20 years of service to the UK. His speech was a riveting one,

gaining an roaring applause and standing ovation, that lasted so long

that the Speaker of the House, Michael Martin, was forced to call the

House to order.

The anti-war movement now gains a legitimate leader in Cook, and Blair's

reelection bid looks more and more in serious doubt. The British public

is overwhelmingly against the war/attack and now, his own Party is

beginning to defect.

As mentioned the other day in my post, "The Attack on Iraq" I stated

that Blair's troubles are only beginning, with more in store for him in

the coming year. I just checked his Dasas this morning, and found that

he is just entering Jupiter/Rahu, which is the tail end of his 16 year

Jupiter Dasa. Dasas are said to be at their weakest when they are either

just starting or about to end, and are known as Dasa Sandhi. Such times

are rarely good for mounting efforts such as reelection bids.

Further, noting that Rahu sits in Blair's 9th house and closely conjunct

the Moon which is also there, we can see that he is getting a thorough

taste of what GWB is getting both at home and abroad. It will be a

painful and lonely time for Blair.

This final Dasa period will extend into the Spring of 2005, when Saturn,

a much better placed planet for Blair, will finally take over. In that

it is placed in the 5th house of teaching and writing of books, and in

that it is such a totoally different planet from that of Jupiter, I

argue that this is Blair's last go-around in public life; he could very

well end up teaching and writing books. It is highly unlikely that he

will win the next elections.

Salaam, Mu
