Also -- is the degree of arudha lagna to be taken to be the same as that of ascendant lord? --- for example,I am a cancer asc with moon in scorpio(deg 3-15).so will my arudha lagna be degrees 3-15 of pisces? best wishes, vivek. Guest guest Posted March 8, 2003 Report Share Posted March 8, 2003 Dear vivek, The Arudha lagna is the ENTIRE SIGN, as many houses away from a sign lord as he is away from his house of ownership, though there are some exceptions and ownership rules. Cancer with Moon in Scorpio will place the Arudha lagna in the 9th/Pisces (Moon is 5 sign away from Cancer and Pisces is 5 signs away from the Moon). You can read about it in BPHS and/or search the net for "arudha lagna" - there are more than a few articles around.
