Guest guest
The Shares fell as soon as London stock exchange opened this morning. War talk isn't helping. New York's market news and the U.N. Inspectors' reports are being awaited now here - whatever those say will have an impact here. Guest guest
Dear Sateesh The report was made this morning. I was listening to it on the radio and it seems to have begun at 9:40am CST. From what I head, the inspectors say that Iraq is not complying, but trying to obstruct their investigation. They have not provided documents to prove that they destroyed the weapons in the past. They also made reference tot he 3500 pages of documents relating to Iraq's nuclear program that were confiscated from the private home of a scientist. The U.N.'s Koffe Anan asks for more time and they say they are training more inspectors. Officials in the US defense department are resistant. I believe France and Germany have asked that the US wait for more inspectors. That's what I caught driving this morning. I'm wondering if other people heard it differently in different places. I listened to both National Public Radio and a privately funded station. c - Sateesh Batas Samva List ; GJ List Cc: Satva List Monday, January 27, 2003 7:04 AM [GJ] Market in London - 27th Jan 2003 The Shares fell as soon as London stock exchange opened this morning.
