Haribol prabhus!

I have been asked to do the chart of a little girl who was born in

India. I have, so far, only done those born in USA. A chart is a

chart but we all know that getting the birth data exactly right is

crucial. I use the Time Zones book (recommended by Nalini) and NOT

the empheris, as it is often mistaken. However, the Time Zones book I

have does not include all other countries, and specificially, not

India. For those who agree with me about the ephemeris, how can I

find the DST for this little girl? Is DST followed in India? Thanks.

In India IST (Indian standard time) is used.

IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of GMT.

(12 Noon GMT = 5.30 PM IST)

IST is the local mean time for longitude 82'30 east.

This should help you calculate LMT for any place in

India.

Regards,

vivek.
